Good morning, Thor

I wake up with the sun in my eyes, its light peeking in from the not completely closed window shudders. I yawn, and lay there for a moment, enjoying the peace and quietness of my environment. I haven't had a moment of this, just  blissful quiet, in a while, it feels. It brings my brain serenity. I turn to roll over on my side and see a sleeping Dawn. She has a little bit on a snore, and she drools on her pillow but still somehow looks amazing. She has her legs up to her stomach in fetal position, but her arms are extended as if she was cuddling me while we slept. I'm pretty sure she was cuddling me.

I don't want to think about what happened last night. I don't want to address these new found feelings for her, new found attraction to my gender, the kiss, or anything. I don't want to think about Jake, or Jamie, or if my mom knows where I am. I just want to eat all of Dawn's food and play with Thor.

I stare at her for a single moment more, appreciating her natural beauty and smiling to myself, and then I slowly climb out of bed. Not wanting to disturb her, I do it as slowly as I possibly could. Once I get downstairs, I see Thor playing with a ball of yarn on the floor next to the Popcorn dirtied couch.

"Good morning, Thor," I whisper sweetly and take a seat next to him on the floor.

"I have a cat named Loki, I think you'd like to meet her," I pet softly

Thor purrs under my palm and leaves the yarn to rub himself against my arm.

"She's kind of stubborn, but that's probably because she doesn't have another cat friend. Dawn has this crazy idea that if we get you two together then kittens will be made, but I don't know. Would you even be interested in dating her? She could use a little love,"

He licks his palm and stares at the ball of yarn. I'd like to imagine he's thinking about whether or not he'd be interested in Loki, and if they would have fun cat adventures and cut cat cuddles together, and if she'd stay mad at him after their little cat arguments. I mean, he's probably deciding if he's gonna play with the yarn again, but I prefer my original thoughts.

"I understand, you'd have to think about it before you get yourself into a relationship. Just give me your thoughts when you finalize them. You can't think on an empty stomach, though. You up for breakfast? I know I am."

I get up from the floor and go to the kitchen. It's large, and keeps up the all-white theme going on in the house. Her fridge is bigger than I am, she has the biggest microwave I've ever seen, there's two stoves and both of them are huge, and she even has one of those spaghetti cutter thingys.

Rich people.

I raid her entire kitchen, coming across eggs, sausages, pancake mix, waffles, hot dogs, hot pockets, cereal, oat meal, cream of wheat, frozen breakfast sandwiches, and a large box of soft chocolate chip cookies.

"There's so many options to choose from, Thor. I don't know which to choose." I say aloud, assuming Thor is nearby. "Who am I kidding, Chocolate chip cookies, you are the winner!"

I stuff three cookies in my mouth and grab the whole box of cookies, holding it close to me. As I turn to go back into the living room, the sudden sight of Dawn startles me.

"Jesus fuck, Dawn," I groan, "I'm going to put a bell around your neck so you can stop scaring me, Christ," I hold my hand over my heart and feel it racing.

"Were you having one sided conversation with Thor?" she smirks.

"Why, is that weird?"

"A little," her smirk grows into a smile.

"Then no, I was not." I lie awfully.

"Right," she laughs, knowing that I was obviously lying. She slumps herself onto the couch and kicks her feet up on the coffee table, putting her arms up against the length of the couch. I could still see the sleepiness in her eyes.
