Ch.28 The Spy's Fall

Hey y'all, I'm back. Sorry about that last chapter, some really upsetting stuff happened. I'm feeling better, and I should be studying for my exams but I'm writing for y'all. I love you all and thank you for your nice comments on the last chapter. -KAT 

In Elysium:

Leo p.o.v. In Elysium life was going great, or should I say death... Piper and I befriended and hung out with other demigods and even a few Hunters of Artemis. Phoebe was actually pretty nice other than the one time she freaked out on my because I jokingly sang her the "I'll Make A Man Out Of You" song from Mulan. Internal shudder. Bad idea. But other than that, it's been great down here. It's been around two months down here but since none of the other questers have come to join me yet, I think the war's going okay. I was currently hanging out at Castor's house with Piper, when a dark purple portal appeared, and out stepped a man. I, being the super sized mcshizzle, screamed and hid behind Piper. Then the man spoke"Children do not be afraid. I am Chaos, the creator, and I would like to invite you three into my army. You can decide on one more person to take with you. You have 5 minutes to decide." Then he flashed out in a puff of smoke. "Leo, do you know what this means?" Piper asked me, I shook my head. "Leo, this means that we are going to get to go back into the world and join the warriors of chaos!" "OMG OMG OMG YASSSSSSS!" Castor yelled "I get to go see my brother!!!!!!!!!". We just smiled. "Okay... So who do we want to take back with us?" Piper asked us. "I feel like we should bring back Phoebe, she deserves to see Artemis and her fellow sisters again." We all agreed. As soon as we'd decided, Chaos flashed back in scaring the schist out of me. "Now that you have made your decision, come with me." And then everything went black.

MEANWHILE ON THE ARGO III

Alcaeus p.o.v. I gave Jensen the antidote and spread the word on the ship about Brittany, as she was currently on the top deck steering, probably thinking that by now I would be paralyzed with fear from the poison. It was time to start the plan.

ONE HOUR LATER

Once the entire crew but me were all in the strategy room, the bitch included *cough* Annabeth *cough*, oh and Brittany the traitor,  they started talking about our strategy to invade the original Mount Olympus, which was of course completely false. She asked where I was. And everyone just said that I was still asleep. Jensen told her that we would take a route going through the Tyrrhenian Sea and stop of at the Colosseum to collect our "secret weapon". Which obviously doesn't exist. But still, once they had told her this and concluded the meeting, she went straight to her room, probably to tell her mistress. I then crept out of my room to join the others and sent Jensen to follow her in a few minutes, while we watched the security footage. It was a wonder that no one had checked the security footage of her room recently, but I'm guessing that that was to avoid another sight of the whole Jensen/Brittany makeout session. When we turned up the sound for her room, we saw and heard a very interesting conversation. Brittany had IM'ed her mistress and as we turned the sound up, what I heard was Britanny replying to an unknown question. "It has gone exactly to plan Mistress, I have overheard some crucial information. They have a secret weapon in the Colosseum, and they are stopping off to get it before travelling to Mt. Olympus. Jensen told it right to me, and the poison has stopped Alcaeus from functioning without raising suspicion, soon he will be dead, and no one will know why." Well then Brittany. Gods. No love for me I see. "You have done well my spy, and this is extremely crucial information. I will see you at the Colosseum. And try to delay the ship from reaching Rome until nightfall, I will be at my strongest then." She said. And what she said next made so many pieces of the prophecy make sense. "Yes Lady Nyx, goodnight." Que le gasp from everyone. *gasp* Schist. Nyx is behind this. I'm betting that she' still mad at me for the whole Tartarus tourist business. Well, now it's time  for Jensen to do his job. I should probably hide until Bitchany oops I mean Brittany is in position.

Jensen's p.o.v.

Brittany left her room and went back up to do her deck duty. As I hid in my room. As she scaled the ladder though, I came out of my hiding place and followed her. She went back up to the deck looking pleased with herself and I decided to give her a little more time and then confront her.

PEARL TAKE US 30 MINUTES INTO THE FUTURE!!!!

I walked up to Brittany who was still flying the ship, and said to her. "Hey Brit, I have something I need to talk to you about." She nodded and turned on automatic steering and walked to the railing of the ship. "What's up Jensen?" She asked. "We need to talk about us, I'm breaking up with you." "WHAT?! Why?" She yelled stepping in between where I was standing and the railing. "I can't date someone who is a spy." Her mouth opened in shock, about to protest when I interrupted. "That's right, I know what you've been doing. Telling Nyx our every move. Don't even try to deny it." She took a few steps back, which was a little too far I guess, when a gust of wind just "happened" to hit her (Jason I'm looking at you.) and over the railing she went. Down, down, down. We're so high up that there's no way she could survive that a fall. I guess what they say is true, Karma's a bitch.
