I returned yet
In a way I'm still stuck there.
Nowadays I just sit around
And towards infinity I stare.
I was lucky I returned,
But then maybe again I wasn't.
I sit and think of how many lives I took,
Although I know I really mustn't.
The memories are depressing
And they always make me sad.
I remember I didn't choose to go,
And that always makes me mad.
I am back from war,
But memories are stuck in my head.
And what if my body returned,
But the war left my soul there dead?
