First off you should know why I haven't been updating. I've been in a play and rehearsals just kept piling up, finals, and Christmas shopping for all of my lovey friends who ended up with chocolate and honey buns because I'm cheap. Also I'm closing the request down for a while but I'll finish the ones I have right now it just becomes a lot of stuff to get everyone's done and I don't want it to suck, but it will not be forever. Now here is a present for me being gone for so long have a lovely Castiel. And enjoy the story.

Why'd you do it? Because you didn't have a choice. Sammy needed him, and couldn't have him going off to hell. They had to stay together they had been through everything together, so you went to a cross road and traded places with Dean.

You drove back to the motel biting your nails, Dean was going to be pissed. You walked into the motel to be met with a very angry Dean. Sam noticing the tension in the room quickly left.

"Where the hell where you?" Dean asked as soon as Sam walked out. You ignored him and walked to the fridge to grab a beer.

"Really you won't respond. Thanks (Y/N), it's not like in going to hell in a few months. And now my girlfriends mad at me for God knows what"

"You aren't going to hell anymore" you said softly. "There's no way out of it (Y/N) we've talked about it" he said this time a bit more gentle.

"No Dean. You aren't going to hell...... I am" he stood in silence, eyes wide in shock. He looked and though you had ripped his heart out.

"Please tell me you didn't (Y/N), please tell me you didn't give up your life for mine. Baby girl please tell you weren't that stupid" he said tears pooling at his eyes at the very thought.

You couldn't look at him. "I didn't have any other choice" you said.

"What do you mean you didn't have a choice, you should have just let me go" his voice was rising.

"Sam needs you Dean, not me you, he needs his brother. No one needs me Dean" you yelled.

"How the hell could you think that (Y/N) I need you, you're the one who was always there you knew me since I was 18. You where with me when Sam left we grew up together, you've been holding me together" he said softer walking closer to you.

You fell into his arms and just sobbed, you where scared you didn't want to end up in hell but you couldn't let that happen to Dean. "It's ok we'll get you out of this,it's ok baby I've got you, they won't get you I promise." He whispered in your ear.

You sent out a silent prayer asking an angel to save you from your fate thinking no one was listening, but someone was and he held up his end.
