Hi there! My name is Kayla Marie Jonas. Yes you read that right, my last name is Jonas.
I am the thirteen year old sister of pop band The Jonas Brothers. To you, they are your idols, inspirations and role models. But to me, they're just Kevin, Joe and Nick. They're just my older brothers, who also happen to be my legal guardians.
My brothers have been taking care of me ever since our parents were killed in a horrific car accident nearly three years ago. And before you ask, it is tough on them sometimes. I mean, they have to balance being international pop stars, with looking after their thirteen-year-old sister. That would be tough on anyone. But they wouldn't trade it for the world and come to think of it, neither would I.
I love everything about being a Jonas. I have extremely talented brothers who love me to death and I get to travel around the world with them as they fulfill their dreams. But my all time favourite thing about my family; is that they always make time to chill out and just be my brothers. It feels really special when they take time out of their hectic lives, to help me with homework or give me guitar lessons. Because it shows that no matter what, they will always be there for me.
But being their little sister isn't all it's cracked up to be. Sometimes it can be frustrating and even aggravating. Now don't get me wrong, I love my brothers with all that I possess and so much more. But sometimes they can be a tad... overprotective.
