Joe's P.O.V
I was sitting in the living room with Kevin and Nick. We were working on a new song for our next album, when the phone rang. Kevin left the room to answer it and Nick got a very strange look on his face.
Joe - "What's up dude?"
Nick - "I have a very bad feeling."
Joe - "About what?"
Nick - "I don't know, but whatever it is, it isn't good."
Just then Kev came back in the room with the phone in his hand. He was looking quite confused.
Kevin - "Cassie! Calm down sweetie, I'm gonna put you on speaker and I want you to repeat that slowly."
Cassie? What was Cassie calling for? Then I remembered that Cassie was with Kayla. Suddenly I understood Nick's bad feeling. Something had happened to Kayla. My hunch proved to be correct as Cassie's distraught voice came out from the phone.
Cassie -- 'Guys! Kayla collapsed and she's unconscious!"
Her words hit me like a knife and I saw Nick begin to panic. Kevin was doing his best to remain calm, but it wasn't working very well.
Nick - "W...what do you mean u....unconscious?!"
Kevin - "Nick calm down, what happened Cass?"
Cassie - "W-well we were reh-hearsing our dance and she w-was fine. The next minute, s-she was sliding down the wall l-looking deathly pale. She was struggling to k-keep her eyes open so I s-said I would g-get Bridget's mum and she said n-no. Then s-she said to g-get you and s-she was u-unconscious a-after that."
My breath caught in my chest as I looked at my brothers. Nick was hyperventilating and Kevin had lost all of the colour in his face.
Joe - "Did you call an ambulance?"
Cassie - "Yes and it's on it's way."
Kevin - "Okay Cass listen to me. I need to and Bridget to stay calm. You need to keep Kayla breathing until the ambulance gets there and when it does I want you two to go with her."
Cassie - "Are you sure?"
Kevin - "Yes, she would want her two best friends there. I also want you to call Dylan and fill him in. He's her friend to and he has a right to know."
Cassie - "Okay I'll call him once we hang up."
Kevin - "Good girl. Stay with Kayls and we'll meet you at the hospital. We're on our way."
He clicked the phone off and then shot up like a bullet.
Kevin - "Come on guys, we gotta get to the hospital. Kayla needs us."
He ran off to grab his wallet and keys, while I did my best to comfort Nick. The poor guy was hysterical so I grasped his shoulders and made him look me in the eyes.
Joe - "Nick I know you're worried. But you've got to calm down."
Nick - "Joe how can I calm down! Our baby sister is unconscious and on her way to the hospital! I'm freaking out!"
Joe - "So am I, but our sister is strong. She will get through this okay?"
He nodded and I pulled him into a hug.
Kevin - "Guys! We gotta go!"
And with that, we piled into Kevin car and sped of towards the hospital, praying to God that our little sister was okay.......
