Kevin's P.O.V
I pulled out of the driveway and Kayla began to text someone, who I assume was either Bridget or Cassie. I looked over at my little sister and I couldn't help but smile. She looked so innocent with her feet curled up on the seat and a cheeky smile across her face. A few minutes later, she randomly burst into a fit of giggles. She looked like a child, it was beyond adorable.
Kevin - "Are you okay over there?"
She looked up at me and her cheeks flushed a light rose colour.
Kayla - "Uh, yeah I'm fine Kevo. Just... talking to the girls."
She held up her phone and I shook my head at her.
Kevin - "I do not understand teenage girls."
Kayla - "And you never will."
I raised an eyebrow at her and she smiled cutely. I rolled my eyes and she went back to texting. A few minutes later, I parked outside of Bridget's house and Kayla went to get out.
Kevin - "Hey aren't you forgetting something?"
She turned around to face me and I pointed at my cheek.
She laughed and leaned across to kiss me. I wrapped my arms around her and she held onto my waist. I kissed her head and she pulled away.
Kayla - "Bye Kevy, I love you."
Kevin - "I love you to Kayls and remember text one of us every hour."
Kayla - "Don't worry I will, I don't feel like getting in trouble."
I smirked and she got out of the car. I was about to drive away, when she opened the door again.
Kayla - "Kev?"
I looked at her with a "what's up look" on my face.
Kayla - "Thanks for this, it means a lot."
My face softened and I grinned up at her. I could see the happiness written all over her face and it warmed my heart.
Kevin - "Your welcome sweetheart, I know how much this showcase means to you."
Kayla grinned widely and blew me a kiss. I caught it and blew one back to her. She laughed and shut the door behind her as she walked up the front path. I was about to drive away, when my phone chimed.
Kayla -- Hey bro, things are going good, will c u later, Luv Kay ;)
I laughed and looked at the clock. Sure enough it was 4pm and we did tell her to text one of us every hour. I smiled to myself as I text back.
Kevin -- You are such a dork, but your my dork. Luv u baby sis xoxoxoxo
I saw her turn around and mouth "Love you to" at me. I waved at her and pulled away from the curb.
Kayla's P.O.V
I watched Kevin drive away and walked up to the front door. I knocked twice and was greeted my the kind face of Bridget's mum.
Mrs Stevens - "Hi Kayla! I haven't seen you in a long time."
She stood aside and I walked into the house.
Mrs Stevens - " Bridget's setting up in the loft on the third floor. Feel free to head up there."
I smiled and said thank you before heading upstairs. I opened the door that lead to the loft and saw one of my best friends pushing furniture against the wall.
Kayla - "Do you want help with that?"
She turned around and saw me standing in the doorway. I waved cutely at her and she rushed over to hug me.
