Kayla's P.O.V
I couldn't help but laugh as Kev and Joe tumbled into my room. While they were lying on the floor groaning in pain, I took advantage of the situation and snapped a picture with my phone.
Kayla - "Oh this is so going on twitter!"
Joe - "Not cool baby sis!"
Kevin - "You know what else is not cool Joe? You crushing my internal organs! Get off of me!"
Joe - "Sorry Kev."
They both got up and then collapsed on my bed. I took another picture and giggled.
Joe - "You're enjoying this way too much," he laughed as he propped himself up on my pillows.
Kayla - "Hey I'm not the one's who were caught eavesdropping outside their sister's door."
Nick - "How long were you out there anyway?"
Kayla - "I think the more appropriate question would be why?"
I finished my second bottle of water and sat down opposite Nick. I glanced at him and noticed that he had a worried look on his face.
Kayla - "Nick is something wrong?"
He looked at me for another few seconds and then fell out of his thoughts.
Nick - "No, nothings wrong. I'm fine."
I wasn't entirely convinced, but I let it go. I turned to Joe and Kev who were still on my bed.
Kayla - "So are you two goofballs going to tell me why you were eavesdropping outside my door?"
Joe - "Goofballs? I resent that!"
I rolled my eyes at my brother and looked at Kevin.
Kayla - "Kevy maybe you should answer, you're more likely to say something sensible."
Joe - "Hey!"
Nick roared with laughter and high fived me while Joe pouted like a five-year old.
Kayla - "Oh you know I love you Joey."
Joe - "You better."
I shook my head and sat down again.
Kevin - "Am I free to answer Kayla's question now?"
Kayla - "Yeah, sorry Kev."
Kevin - "It's okay baby girl. Anyway, the answer's pretty straightforward. Joe and I wanted to see if you and Nick were still mad at each other. So we snuck upstairs and listened to your conversation."
Nick - "Okay that explains why you were outside her door, what was the loud thump that we heard?"
I saw Joe blush and start to play with his fingers.
Joe - "My uh, foot start to fall asleep, so I tried to move to a more comfortable position and sorta hit my head on the doorknob."
