I didn't want to go to school despite it being the last I'd actuallyhad to be there but Mi reminded that me it was just for the final exams that we'd be back in the car on our way to the beach in no time. So I followed her dutifully inside where some of the Pack were waiting, to my surprise "Luna." they bowed and my skin burns red.
"Uh hi" I chirp dragging Miranda away; she stumbled to match my pace.
"Why did they call you Luna?"
"That's uh my middle name" I reply uneasily of course they would know they're mind linked to him.it was going to get out sooner or later Isigh
She scowled "Anything else, I don't know about my best friend of thirteen years" I think the notion bothered her deep in her core but that's how it would always be her on the outside looking in outside but safe " How come I never knew that?" she muttered
"It never came up I uh... Despise it" At least that part was true I hate my real middle name Gracelyn
"You shouldn't its cute, after you clean out your locker meet me in the cafeteria for a celebratory ice cream"
"And then we're headed to the beach?"
"Yes, good luck but with your smarts you don't need it" she winked before running down the hallway making in just enough time I wondered if she might even be a little Were
its hard to grasp the idea I'm a Luna to the strongest Pack for miles thinking about it made my head hurt how was I going to stay unattached? If leading the Pack is what I was born to do?
I shook my head and took my test trying to forget that after today it would be Saturday the day of my "date" Miranda insisted we go shopping after school let out for us there wasn't much I'd deny Miranda.

"Well are you excited?" she says after we leave the school the ice cream dripping messily down our arms the sole reminder of our four years here
"For what?" I lap at the vanilla cone merging into my palm
"Well, first for your date and two for College?"
I shook my head "I'm not going to a university" her mouth opened in shock at my response I can't, as Luna I have to live at the Pack house the only reason I'm not there yet is because it's too dangerous for me as a shifter who can't shift
"You're super brilliant why wouldn't you?"
"Family things"
"Oh well, we'll still hang out right?" When I nodded her face light up again "What about your date?"
I frown that one was a little harder to put a finger on "I'm not sure honestly"
"Well are you nervous?" I moan as a blush crept to my cheeks
"Maybe a little"
"It'll be fun trust me Abby, you'll feel much better once we find the better outfit" she pulled me into the car and I exhale slowly trying to calm myself
I'd never been on a date before what am I supposed to do? How do I keep him interested I just wasn't a social person
what if this is wrong?
AN : this isnt my favorite chapter infact i dont like it at all but i needed to get Abigail out of school and explain more things so itll set up everything in the next part perfectly so i apologize before hand the next one is much more interesting
