Chapter 4: Jealousy

Marco's POV

So I walked up to Star

"Oh hey Marco!" Star said to me, then I saw the guy looking at me confusingly.

"Is he your boyfriend?" The guy asked Star while looking at her.

"NO!" Me and Star answered at the same time slightly blushing. Why does that keep happening?! Anyways people from the props team looked at us which made me feel embarassed.

"We're just friends!" Again at the same time we said. Then Star and I looked at each other.

"Oh! Where are my manners? Marco this is Daniel Roberts, and Daniel this is Marco Diaz!" As usual Star talks cheerfully, just another thing that I like about her.... 0///0. Okay Marco now's not the time for that!

"Nice to meet you Marco, so you're the beast?" Daniel asked me while he extended his hand for me to shake

"Nice to meet you as well and Yes I am the beast for this play" I answered him while shaking his hand

"So.. uhm Marco we were just working on your castle for the play, the castle where you will meet your belle!" Star said to me

"If only you could be my Belle" I whispered quietly assuring that I wasn't loud enough to be heard while looking away.

"What was that Marco?" Star asked me

"Star can I talk to you for a minute" I said while grabbing her hand away from Daniel. And yes I held her Soft hands

"S-sure Marco" Star stuttered and then we stopped

"Star, I don't think that I can trust-" I was cut off by Brittney who just said while holding a megaphone

*tiiiiing*

"Listen up Loserz, 5 min break is over so you get back to practicing!" Then she just hair flipped away

"Sorry Star, I'll tell you later for now I need to practice.. AGAIN with Jackie" I said to Star.

"Oh... okay I'll just catch up with you later" Star responded

"I better go home" We just finished practicing so I went to Star and when I got there Star told me something

"Hey Marco, I just wanna tell you that Daniel will be walking me home, I mean if that's okay with you and all" Star told me which made me really surprise because Me and Star always walk home together or sometimes take the bus together.

"Oh uh.. that's okay I mean if that's what you like then okay. Besides I still have stuff to do" I lied knowing that some pieces of my heart are breaking

"You don't want to join us?" Star asked me. I know she was upset which made me unhappy. I know I'll just be a third wheel if I join them anyway

"It's okay, you two can go ahead. Still need to practice" I told her

"Well okay.. if you say so... guess I'll just see you back at the house" Star said then she waived goodbye while looking unhappy then I waived back at her. And as I watch her go with another guy I just can't help but feel jealous. 0///0... COME ON MARCO WHY NOW?!

( A few minutes later )

I walked home alone with only me and my questions on my mind

*raining*

Oh great just great! Why does it have to rain? Here I am on the sidewalk soaked in rain and all I could possibly think of is Star! I mean like why would Daniel walk Star home? I'm the one who does that! Is he her boyfriend or anything? NO! Why would he think that Star is into him? Is he hitting on her? Does Star like him back? Oh no, what if Ludo attacks? What if Star gets into an accident because of him?! I need to keep an eye on them especially Daniel because what if he does something bad to her? I can't let him lay one finger on Star!

Star's POV

"Thanks for walking me home, although why did you walk me home? Marco and I always walk home together" I asked him while walking towards the Diaz residence

"I thought that I could get to know you more and be friends" Daniel told me while grabbing my hand and me... well I was blushing

"Aren't we already friends?" I asked him

"We are" Daniel asked me in shock

"Yeah!" I assured him then the next thing he did was to hug me! He was hugging me super tight and while hugging I can see Marco walking towards us, I guess he saw us because he stopped walking so I quickly pulled away from the hug

"Well thanks for walking me home by the way" I was heading for the door and that's when he grabbed my hand and he pulled me towards him

"Can we eat together at lunch? I won't leave unless you say yes" Daniel asked me, I need to make him go away Marco is walking towards us

"Uh.. yeah sure, just go" I said to him while pushing him away from me then I plastered a smile on my face, and thank god he went to his house and left me. I felt relieved until...

"Why was Daniel here for so long?" Marco asked me, I can tell he was... JEALOUS?!

"DanieljustaskedmeifIwantedtoeatlunchwithhim" I told way too fast

"What?! Why? Star, you always eat lunch with me! Why did you choose him over me?!" Marco looked shocked and dissapointed

"Relax Marco I'm sitting in front of him not beside him! And it's not even a date! Why are you so affected to this?!" I asked him almost snapping

"Uuughh!!!" Marco said while making his way towards his room. He must be stressed from practice

Marco's POV

Why did he ask Star? Does he like Star? Star might like him back? Why did she say yes? I need an answer from her!

"I didn't even tell you what I think about Daniel, then you're going to eat lunch with him?!" I mumbled while walking to my room, I didn't lock the door because I thought that Star wanted to get in. Ferguson told me something awhileago that I was jealous. Maybe he was right, maybe I am jealous of Daniel. But it's not like I was already jealous before right?

"Star I don't trust Tom" I said to Star
"Well so do I but I want to go to the Blood Moon Ball" Star responded

"You were so bummed out that Oskar didn't call, so I had to cheer you up" I said knowing that Star fell for another stupid guy who doesn't appreciate her

Dear God! I have been jealous for a couple of times already! Do..I... like Star? I mean she's cheerfull, upbeat, energetic, fun, funny, kind, generous, crazy, beautiful, PERFECT, and I'm nothing without her. She's too perfect to deserve me and besides she's my best friend! And she likes Oskar so I'd have no chance with her! So I guess it turns out that I like Star but what will happen now that Daniel is between us?
