Chapter 6: Distance

Star's POV

I woke up thinking about our fight last night and made me blush furiously when I saw Marco lying next to me on my bed! What happened??!!

I better not wake him up, but I really need to keep my distance from him. Maybe if I just- I spoke too soon.

"I...can't ...breathe" I whispered while Marco is still hugging me tight in his sleep. I can hear my heart beat faster and louder and I can hear his too, it's so calm. Wait what day is it? Wait what time is it?!

5:00 A.M

NO NO NO! We'll be late! Isn't Marco supposed to wake up an hour ago? He's a light sleeper! Not the heavy sleeper! That's me! I started pushing myself away from him, I fell from the bed to the floor butt first. Then I took a glance at Marco *phew* he didn't wake up he looked so calm and peaceful while sleeping I guess I'm 'star-strucked' (LOL get it?).

Then he just started talking things randomly.

"Star, stay with me please... I can't bear... seeing you.... with..." Marco didn't finish

"With who?" I asked quietly

"I don't want... to see... you heartbroken.. and depressed... because of.... another guy" Marco finished, I am totally capable of guys!

Wait SCHOOL!!!

"MARCO! WAKE UP WE'LL BE LATE FOR SCHOOL!!!" I shouted, good thing Mr. & Mrs. Diaz are on a vacation

"Star... what are you doing?" Marco asked with a mixture of annoyance and sleepiness

"Waking you up in MY bed! C'mon we'll be late for school" I told him

"Star it's Saturday!" Marco said, well kinda shouted

"Go back to sleep" Marco commanded me! I am not sleeping with him after a fight and besides for no reason!

"Right after you tell me what are you doing in my bed!" I said to Marco who looked confused

"What are you talking about? This is my-" Marco stopped talking after realizing he is not in his room

"No no no no no, I can't be sleep walking can't I?" Marco asked still confused

"Wait, why am I even talking to you Sir over protective?" I asked with my arms crossed looking away

"I'll just be in my room, your welcome for telling you the date!" Marco walked past me

"Your welcome for waking you up" I said back

Everytime he turns around and walk away, I just can't resist to wish that he could stay

"Cause, when I'm with him I am thinking of you, thinking of you" I sang while thinking about Marco

"What would I do if, you are the one who was spending the night oh I wish that I was looking into your eyes" I finished my song

I better take a bath and get dressed. I was walking towards the bathroom until I heard Marco singing in his room

Then I thought 'who could she be? Marco must really like her' and my chest start to tighten. I should really stop eavesdropping. So I went to the bathroom

* 10 minutes later *

I finished taking a bath and the water was so warm, it was so relaxing

*knock knock*

"Hey Star hurry up! I also need to take a bath" Marco said

I wrapped my towel around me and I went out of the bath room dripping wet

"All yours Marco" I said while guesturing at the door

I can see Marco blushing at me

"Is there something wrong?" I asked him

"Wha- N-no t-there's n-nothing w-wrong!" Marco stuttered while shaking his hands

"Okay" I said then I walked away and Marco was still looking at me O///O
Star snap out of it just head to your room!

Marco's POV

Marco stop looking at Star! Just get in the bathroom

After I got dressed I went downstairs to eat breakfast.

When I got down I saw Star eating cereal. I usually eat beside her but this time I'll just sit in front of her since it would be awkward and we had a fight last night

"Goodmorning Star" I said with an unhappy face.

Star just nodded

"Star I-" I was cut off by Star who said

"Save it, you know you had the chance to say that last night"

It was silent which made things more awkward until..

Space unicorn soaring through the stars
Delivering the rainbows all around the world-

It was Jackie.

"You better answer your girlfriend, I mean if you don't want her to make her mad and all" Star said while eye rolling

I answered the call

(On the phone)

"What now Jackie?" I asked Jackie

"Oh Hey Marco! I just wanna see how you doin' and want to practice at your place?" Jackie asked me

"Sure, fine" I said and rolled my eyes

(Call ended)
