Chapter 10: Date..?

Star's POV

Marco really brought me here, I really wanted to go here since I first saw it.

"Shall we, my princess?" Marco courtsied, and of course.. I played along "Why of course, my knight" I giggled and took his hand. He led me to our table which only had two chairs. Marco gladly assisted me with my seat... he's a little sweet today.. I wonder why. After I sat on my chair, Marco sat on his chair.

"So, what would you like St-" I cut Marco off  "EXCUSE ME! CAN WE PLEASE GET A HUGE NACHO BOWL WITH SALSA, AND ALSO 10 TACOS! .... two diet cokes... AND ALSO 6 QUESADILLAS PLEASE! -OH AND ALSO 2 BURRITOS!" I shouted to get the waitress' attention and boy, was she shocked. Marco was staring at me wide eyed. "What are you looking at?" I asked him.

"H-huh? Oh nothing..." Marco replied. "Hmm... okay..?" I narrowed my eyes at him. "You're acting pretty suspicious lately, what's up?" I asked again "Nothing, Me? Suspicious? Pfft- ahaha get out of here- Oh look our food is here!!!" he said. "Food!~ it looks so pretty!!!" I smiled.

"Just like you...." Marco muttered. "What?" "What." Me and Marco had an awkward tension.

**TIME SKIP BROUGHT TO YOU BY CAPTAIN LEVI**

I'm sooo full. "So.. do you want to go to the Carnival?" Marco asked me "What's a Korniyyll?" I asked too. Marco chuckled. "Star, it's 'Carnival'" Marco corrected me. "Ohhhh... okay" I giggled. We payed for our food then we left for the Carnival.

**AT THE CARNIVAL**
(Any crybabies here?)

Marco's POV

Star's eyes sparkled.

"How about let's go to the love and corndogs ride?" (Dat Gravity Falls reference tho) Well that sounded more like a question. Star just stared at me for a minute. "So-" I was cut off by Star

"Yeah sure!" I swear I saw a bright tint of pink on her cheeks... which only means.. it's too hot out here! "Are you okay Star?" I put my hand over her forehead. Instead of helping I made it worse! Her face became redder, ugh.. Marco, why do you always ruin things?! "O-of c-c-course, M-marco. W-w-why wouldn't I-I b-be?!" She nervously laughs. She's acting strange (Yandere sim refrence). After a while we went inside the ride

**INSIDE THE RIDE**

"FREE CORNDOGS INSIDE THIS RIDE?! HOW COOL CAN THIS GET?!" Star exclaimed when we got in the ride. She got 5 corndogs and ate 3 at once! I just chuckled at the sight  "What are you laughing at?" She glared at me. "Nothing! I-it's... I-it's just t-that" I was cut off by my own chuckles "What? Is it because I eat like a pig?" Star said embarrassed. "N-no.. it's just that.. you look so cute when you're eating corndogs" I smile warmly.

"O-oh.. thank you" Star was flustered. "You're welcome" Star handed me a corndog. We enjoyed the ride while eating corndogs

**TIME SKIP BROUGHT TO YOU BY BILL CIPHER**

We headed home afterwards.. Star was still creeped out of the clowns in the carnival. "Marco.. is this a date?" Star asked out of the blue. "Well if you put it that way, yeah" I answered.

"Like a... friendly date right?" Star asked again. "Y-yeah! of course! I wouldn't actually date you, I mean that's just wrong right? You're just my best friend! Haha.. nothin' more... right?!" I was unsure of my answer. Star however, looked hurt. But why?

"Right.." she nodded.
Marco.. you don't know how hurt I feel right now...

So we went inside our house. I set up the couch and movie for movienight. "Marco, don't forget the nachos!" Star reminded me. "Okay!" I answered. I went to the kitchen and made some of my famous nachos that Star loved! Star went upstairs to change her clothes. After I made nachos, I placed them on the table in front of our tv.

Star went downstairs with a backflip from the stairs, luckily she had a perfect landing. "Star! Be careful! You might get hurt!" I said to her worried, I don't know what I'd do if she'd get hurt!

"Relax Marco! I do this all the time in Mewni, and our Palace Stairs are more gigantic than your stairs which made it even more dangerous!!!" She smiled insanely "Whatever Dangerous Woman" I chuckled and rolled my eyes.

"Anyways, the nachos are ready and I already set up the couch aaand also the movie" I tried to impress her but to no avail.. she just asked "What're we watching?" ..... sigh.. WHY CAN'T I JUST IMPRESS HER?!??!?!?!

"Only the best series of all time! STAR WARS!!!!" I started to fanboy "Star what? Hey, isn't that my name?" Star was confused "Ohoho no.. you don't know.. just you wait" I made her sit on the couch beside me and we cuddled in our for-two-blanket. It was really cozy. I started the movie.

Damn.. I feel like kissing her..
