Selena answered, she was embarrassed. Josh had to give her a bad news. The shop they chose for the wedding list didn't have their list anymore, so all the people who were invited didn't know anymore where they could have bought the gift for them.

< Selena I'm busy today > explained Josh < please can you call back the shop and clarify things? >

< ok > she said. But the truth was that she was exhausted everyday more. Until that moment Josh hadn't done anything, also his family. Selena and Mandy had to make a hard working while he didn't. Also now, she was a little bit happy because of spending time with Justin, an old friend. A funny one, a carefree one.

Justin was starring at her, all that beauty in just one thing. It was something he found incredible. "how could a girl be flawless as Selena" he thought "what's the problem? I wish there's a trouble between them" he continued, but then he realised he was being too cruel.

Selena had to call the man of the shop; she tried to clarify but he was too delayed for her gusts.

< Mrs Gomez, I'm mortified, but I have to ask you to come over here. Maybe you could make another list > said the man with a dead voice. Even if she didn't want to, she accepted because she understood that the man was really mortified and she didn't have the necessary strength to start a fight. So, she turned off the phone.

< is everything ok? > asked Justin with a pretty shy voice

< no, nothing is going in the right verse > commented Selena resentful.

< oh! > sighed Justin < may I help you? >

< I'm so sorry Justin, but I must go. There's a problem with the marriage's list and the man is crazy, so I have to go there > explained Selena

< ah! > Justin sighed again < isn't Josn coming? >

< nope > answered Selena

< what would you think if I come with you?>

< what?! Would you? > asked Selena surprised

< if you let me, It would be a pleasure! > exclaimed Justin smiling.

Justin and Selena arrived at the shop in about 15 minutes. Selena came on her own and so did Justin with his Ducati motorbike; he wasn't really happy of helping her but it was the only way to spend time together.

Selena was bored only thinking about the list. She didn't like anything, there were silver dishes everywhere or colorful porcelain. She didn't find those things "useful". Like, Mandy's house was full of them and they had never used them... but Josh, and especially his mom, liked to follow all the traditions. The wedding must be in a church and not on the beach as Selena wished, the gifts must come from a shop like that etc... She hated that side of Josh. And he wasn't even helping her, Justin was doing it and that surprised Selena a lot. She even thought that maybe he wasn't as kid as she had always thought.

The man conduced them upstairs in a very big room full of things, he showed them the one that usually are chosen by the couples and he left. Selena had a paper and a pen with her.

< I really dunno where to start > she admitted < I mean, will I ever use those things? >

< If you want me to be honest... no. You'll never need them! >

< I know, but Josh really cares about those little things that we should do for the marriage.. >

<If he cares, why he isn't here? > asked Justin. Maybe he was too cold. < I mean, even if I'm really happy to help you.. he should be here by your side and choose the things. He wants them, you don't. The minimum he could do would be help you! >. Selena chugged, aware of what Justin was saying. Why Josh wasn't there? Why did he leave her alone all the times? Selena didn't know the answer. Justin understood she was in difficulty, that silence was a guilty one.

< why don't you add to your list also something better? For example you could ask to the people to help you paying a holiday to make with him> he suggested, trying to change her mood.

< I'd love a holiday.. > sighed < maybe in Hawaii as we did two years ago, I actually fell in love with them >

< I know... yes it would be a nice idea > and Justin felt mad. " Why did she nominate our holiday? I'm already afflicted.." thought Justin. She was going with the other man, his enemy in love's affair, where they had spent an amazing love-trip, probably one of the best of his life.

The idea of the trip made Selena dream; so she decided to talk to Josh soon about her wishes.

So, Justin and Selena left the shop and decided to go somewhere together. There was a cafè near there were the ice-cream the sold was delicious. Both were still hungry and sweet tooth so they went there. At the end, it was a lovely day "lovely as her" thought Justin. Both were grateful and happy of being together, as friend. Friends again.

Justin surprised her again: he knew what were her desires. Maybe a holiday was better, but deep inside her she didn't want to go there with anyone who was not Justin.
