~*Chapter Five*~

"...therefore x=2, understood?" Eda explained. It's been 2 weeks since the boys arrived unexpectedly.

"No," Gale answered.

"We were all sitting on the floor of our room going over maths for the test tomorrow. We were just going to solve 'x' so I didn't worry much. Eda sighed she didn't know how to tutor Gale and Eda was the best tutor I knew.

"Gunner is good at maths. Why don't you ask him? Maybe he can explain it in your type of language," I said.

"Why didn't I think of that? Bye girls see you later," Gale picked up her bag, pencil and book an practically ran out of the room.

"I've got to go too. I have to study with Marlin. Bye Adaira," Eda said leaving as well.

"Bye," I mumbled. I was left in the room alone and I didn't know what to do I still had to cook dinner but that was 1 hour away. I decided to sleep.

'Yeah. Sleep was good,' I thought.

1 hour later...

"You're my partner?" I asked shocked.

"Yep," he replied popping the 'p'.

"You can cook?" I ask not bothering to hide my shock.

"Just because I'm a guy doesn't mean I can't cook," he answered a little annoyed.

"Sorry," I said quietly. He just nodded his head. "I just- I really don't see you doing this type of stuff. you hang out Anora and-"

"What does Anora have to do with this?" he asks.

"Alessio, she is the most nastiest person in this whole school. Don't you see how she treats her friends and she has some of the young years doing her chores. She's a bitch! You hang out with her which automatically makes you the same," I yelled. I've been keeping this in for two very long weeks and I really needed to get it off my chest.

"Listen here Adaira just because I let out my  feelings to you doesn't mean I owe you anything. I understand that you don't feel the same. So please go fuck yourself!" he yelled.

I felt like my heart has been stabbed by sharp needles. My vision became blurry, but I would not allow myself to shed a tear for him.

Alessio and I have been spending a lot of time together this past week. It all ended on Friday when he told me how he felt about me, I told him I didn't feel the same and he started hanging out with Anora. I spent all my classes with him and he sat next to me in the classes I didn't have with my friends. My friends and Dane rarely talk to me anymore. All this because this ass here had the nerve to kiss me in front of them. Dane was pissed and stormed out of the room. Everything got so messed up and confusing. Gale and Eda look at me with different eye now and I hate it. How can someone have such strong feelings for another without know them for long?

I was still looking at Alessio his eyes were empty. They were a void. His eyes were no longer a kind, loving blue. He had dyed his blond hair brown and even had it cut. I stopped staring at him and decided to get dinner ready.

Instead of eating dinner I decided to take a walk I walked pas the garden and past some fields. I just kept walking. I finally decided to the lake. I've never been there but I really wanted to go...

I had to climb over a wall to get there but I was ready.

The lake was much more beautiful than I expected. The moon's reflection was seen in the water and the grass was like a welcoming bed. I sat down and stared at the water. I touched the water it felt cool. I decided to swim I had worn a bathing suit for swimming practice this afternoon. I had forgotten to take it off when I reached my the room. I went under the water letting the cool water travel up and down my skin. I resurfaced. I floated in the water a bit and got out. I had to get back. I wore my sundress over my costume not caring if it got wet. I started walking back but completely froze when I someone touched me.

"Look what I've got here, a midnight snack," said an angelic voice behind me it belonged to a young boy, "What's you're name princess?" he asked coming to stand in front of me. I looked at him and gosh was he beautiful, his eyes are so mesmerizing and I get lost. "Hello?" he says waving his hand in front of my face.

"Sorry," I said weakly, blushing a bit.

He smiled a scary smile at me and even though it was dark I could him clearly and that's when I saw his fangs.

He's a vampire.

Fucking hell.

Out of nowhere a boy appeared, "Vex, how many times did I tell you not to play with your food," he scolded.

Two vampires?

"Your not my dad, Cale."

Cale, Dale, Gale what next Sale?

Cale rolled his eyes and looked at me. He was hotter than Vex by a trillion percent. When he looked at me I almost gasped. He was perfection.

'You can suck my blood any day,'  I thought, then blushed.

He smirked at me as if he could read my thoughts.

Wait what if he could?

"What's your name?" he asked whilst liking his lips. I could not resist I had to look at those juicy lips of his.

"Adaira," I said.

"A beautiful name for such a plain boring  lady such as yourself," he said.

I was thinking of some very colourful words right now. To say I was livid was an understatement.

"Stultus," I said so he didn't hear me but he did.

"Scortum," he replied.

I stood there shocked for 3 reasons. One- he understood what I said. Two- he speaks Latin. Three- he called me a whore.

A WHORE!!

He doesn't even know me!?

"Listen here you-" I started but I was cut off when he came so to me we were millimetres away from kissing. I heart beat quickened and he smiles. He did that on purpose. I stare at him he looks back at me. He stares at me intensly.

"Adaira," he says me name.

"Yeah?" I said quietly after a few seconds.

"It was a pleasure to meet you."

And like that he was gone, so was his little friend.

I had a long walk back to the school.

I slowly looked up at the stars. They seem to shine brighter than they did ever before.
