First vampires, werewolves and now half angels with demon blood.

Messed. Up.

"How?" I asked.

They were way too much lies (or untold truths) in this world.

"Well, my dad was cursed by his ex-boyfriend," he began but I stopped him.

"Gay?"

"No, let me make this simple," he sighed,"my dad was madly and deeply in love with Jane, she was a witch but never told him one day walking through the forest they were attacked and she used her powers. He loved her more. At a party he met my mom, Lucy. They are bound, which means they should be with each other no matter what," I paused and I took advantage of the moment.

"Bound?"

"It's like they are created for each other. They are meant to be with each other in some way. The stronger the bound force the more closer you are going to have to be," Dane answered.

"This bound thing applies to...?"

"Everyone, even humans but they are to dumb to figure out their true potential."

"Its not like I'm offended at all by that statement," I said sarcastically.

"You shouldn't--Oww. Okay I get it I can't tell her yet!"

Dane rolled his eyes while Jasper was rubbing his arm. A green light shone as he did so.

"As I was saying my parents were bound and my dad left Jane. Jane got upset and opened the forbidden book. Practicing evil spells and dark magic. She kidnapped my father and tried to break his bound which came at a horrible price. Her identity was discovery. She had been using a spell to hide her true gender: male. Now Jane is James. My father was able to escape. A few years later he was married to my mom and they had children and adopted some as well," Jasper said looking at Dane.

"When I was still in the hospital James injected demon blood into my blood stream so...yeah. I can never go to heaven nor hell and both my parents are angels. My parents died after this and became ghosts. They live in my head. They'll never leave. Forever in my head," he said emotionlessly.

It felt dark and cold. I just stood there shocked. Jasper's eyes where pitch black there where stars in his eyes. When I looked into his eyes I felt like was looking at the universe.

"Jasper?" I whispered.

"His soul's gone to Io."

"Io? As in Jupiter's moon Io?"

Dane nodded. "There's been problems with the volcanoes erupting and all that stuff, I don't know. He's in charge of keeping the peace there or something. I don't know. He has blackouts like these regularly."

I just nodded.

This was too much to take in. And nothing made sense. How many more paranormal/ supernatural beings are there. Not all of them are real. Right?

"A penny for your thoughts?"

"I was just thinking if there are more...creatures sorry that the wrong word--"

"Don't worry I understand, and there's not a lot of supernatural creatures there are just 15 species in this realm."

This realm?

How many realms are there!?

Oh my glob!!!

FULLSTOP.

This is to much to take in.

"Wow, that's... WOW!"

I stared into mid-air as I took this all in.

In the distance I heard a tree break. I sighed. Seconds later Cale was flying through the air and he landed in the lake.

Jace came jogging into the area. He winked at me before he dove into the water.

I need a doctor.

Jasper was at my side and looked at the two boys with disappointment. He clicked his fingers and everything went frozen. I looked at the sky and the birds were there but frozen too.

"How?"

Only the two of us were moving.

"I paused time, come on."

We walked to the boys.

I just mouthed 'oh'.

I smiled at him and he smiled at me. It was kind of a creepy smile. I'm sure he saw my face fall and he laughed at me. Unlike his smile his voice was amazing.

Demon blood can do things to a person.

"How could you Adaira?" Jace whined.

I continued laughing at him and I laughed some more when Cale continued rinsing his mouth with the water.

"Sorry?"

"Couldn't you've made us hug?"

I shook my head.

"But with tongue?" Jace whined.

"That was all me," Jasper said.

It was gross but hilarious.

"That was cruel," a small voice said.

I turned around to see Alice standing on a tree branch. She jumped down and walked towards us.

We all sat in a circle with a small fire in the middle.

"Adaira, you can't leave the school anymore. The elders have become suspicious."

"How do you know?"

"You've never come to the meetings and you are no longer doing your chores. I know you want to keep in contact with them and Jasper has a plan.

I looked towards Jasper and raised an eyebrow.

"For never was a story of more woe than this of Juliet and her Romeo," Jasper said thoughtfully. "Do you think there'll ever be a love that pure?"

"There might, but not in this world," I answered after thinking about it.

"Why do you think so?"

"This world's a heartless place. It's where the innocent get condemned and the guilty, they thrive. The only walls I've never known are the walls where I rest. I might not know about the problems of the new world but they are there. Growing, feasting. It's survival of the richest now. Others are left to fade away with time. Everything isn't rainbows and sparkles. Humans have lost there humanity. We've become monsters. We feed on the living. And the living feed on the dead."

It was quiet for a while as I took all this in.

I sighed at this, "so you had a plan."

Jasper stood and and looked directly at me, "we," he said pointing to everyone except Dane and I, "are going to be attending your school."
