"What. The. Hell. Is. Going. On."
That's what I wish Fang had said, because that would have been a normal response. Instead, my psychotic, winged boyfriend launched himself at Dylan at the speed of light and sent him crashing through the apartment wall. MY apartment wall. My NEW apartment wall.
I ran to the window and stared at them as Fang proceeded to punch Dylan's lights out mid-air, not entirely angry that he had decided to do so. Not that I condone violence of any sort, but Dylan deserved this.
Except he was strong - nearly too strong.
They began to match each others' moves, their wings began fast and almost touching. I could practically seen the veins popping out on Fang's temple from where I stood, and that wasn't just because of my raptor vision.
Suddenly, it started to get a little too violent for my taste, and so I began to shout. Normally I would have just flown right into the middle of that bird fight, but usually that resulted in a black eye for me because of a stray fist.
"Guys! Calm down! Fang! Leave him alone!" I began to wave my arms, almost using them to take off. "Hey! Don't pretend you can't hear me you mor-"
Suddenly, a searing pain exploded behind my eyelids, knocking me to the ground. Now, the last time I'd felt pain like this had been - oh, I dunno, last week when the world exploded - but before that, it had been mid-air on our way to New York.
That was when the Voice had made itself comfortable in my brain. But recently it had come to the fore that Angel, was in fact, the Voice. So what was this?
"Agh!" I cried out, holding my brain together with my hands - or so I hoped. "F-Fang!" I called out, but my call wasn't as loud as I had wanted it to be.
Max.
Oh, crap. "Angel?" I whimpered, blatantly aware that I was talking to myself. "Is that you? Voice?"
No. It answered. It's me.
"Who?"
