My head was healing fast now. And now Molly did't even phase me. I began to walk home from school one day, Kit standing beside me.
" Hahah. Bye!" Kit said as she began to wave and continued to walk on the sidewalk to her large home a few houses down. I looked up at my tiny home. It has a little porch in the front and has a big tree with a tire swing we put in when we first moved in a few weeks ago in the backyard. Since we moved here, I have had to share a room with my sister Sophie who is in eighth grade.
I pull open the door to the house. I immediately enter the living room and drop my bag by the couch. I walk into the dining room and kitchen, and I grab a granola bar from the cabinet. I walk back to my bag a throw it over my shoulder and walk to my room down a hall on the side of the dining room. My brother's room is to the right, Sophie and my room is to the left, and the bathroom is straight ahead. I turn to the left and grab the door handle. I shake it. I realize that it is locked.
"Sophie! Open up!" I yell. " I have to get ready for gymnastics!"
" One minute! I'm changing." Sophie called from inside the room.
" Girls! Come on! We have to go! Sophie just let McKenna in." My dad called from the living room.
I finally get into the bedroom and change into my sparkly leotard quickly, and I grab my gymnastics bag before heading out the door. Today was my competition and my family and Kit were coming to see me.
