Molly came to me when we went to school on Monday. She said she was sorry. For everything. She just wanted to be part of the gym again. Our gym. And go to state with us. She said she was jealous. But of what? I'm a short new girl living in a tiny house, and basically not getting anything I ever wanted.
But on a coincidence, Natalie, one of the girls on the team had to leave because she was moving away. I knew how that felt when I left San Diego to come here. Telling my closest friends that was one of the hardest things I have ever done. At least I don't have to do that ever again.
Molly joins our team. It seems as if we've finally made up for everything that has ever happened. Me, her, Amy, and Alison. A team.
Now we start preparing for state.
