Chapter 2 | Ouran Academy

~Arabella's POV~

BEEP. BEEP. BEEP.

My eyes slowly opened to the sound of my alarm clock going off.

BEEP. BEEP. BEEP.

I put my hand down on it and it stopped. I sat up and looked around my newly decorated room, which I finished last night.

It's Monday.

Also known as my first day at Ouran Academy.

And, I was NOT looking forward to it.

I mean, Ouran is probably a school full of rich snobs who are full of themselves.
And, since I'm not rich at all, I won't fit in at all.

Also, not being rich meant I couldn't afford the female Ouran school uniform.

I'm actually GLAD I couldn't afford it, have you seen the female Ouran uniform??? It's ugly with a capital U.

Hey, I'm no fashionista, but even I can tell that uniform is just NOT RIGHT.

So, I wore my usual clothes to school.

After I was done getting ready, I headed downstairs for breakfast.

Daniel was already in the kitchen eating. I sat down across from him.

Then, Mom came down. She smiled when she saw us. "Good morning, kids! So, are you excited for your first day of school in Japan???"

Two words: no way.

"Whatever." I said.

But Daniel wasn't having it.

"No, Mom, I'm really NOT excited at all. Honestly, excited is probably the last thing I am right now." Daniel said.

Mom glared at him. "Daniel Hashimoto, you know this move is for the best!" she said. Mom meant business.

Daniel just rolled his eyes before he went back to eating.

After I finished eating, I left the house and began my walk to school.

Luckily, Ouran Academy wasn't that far from our house; only about a fifteen-minute walk.

As predicted, I arrived at Ouran almost exactly fifteen minutes later.

My eyes widened at the sight I was seeing.

I had never actually seen Ouran before, all I knew is that it was a private school and it was packed full of rich kids.

Ouran Academy was HUGE...

... and very PINK.

That's right, I said pink.

I took Ouran in for about five seconds before I entered the main building.

Once I got inside, I picked up my schedule and the front office lady told me where I can find my locker.

I read over my schedule.

~1st Period: Homeroom

2nd Period: History

3rd Period: Honors English

4th Period: Honors Science

5th Period: Gym

6th Period: Math

7th Period: Art~

I smiled. This is pretty much the exact schedule I wanted. So, I guess I'm happy about that.
