We stared at Izzy for a good minute or so. She hadn't noticed us coming in, hell, she probably hadn't even noticed the lights coming on.
"Izzy?" I asked waryily, taking a step towards her.
That made her look round, fixing me with a surprising cold stare that froze me in place.
"Lucy, as much as I love you being my best friend, I really need you and Karen to GO!" at the last word, lighting jumped from Izzy's hair onto the ceiling light, causing it to smash and short out.
"Izzy..." Karen moaned, starting forwards, but I put out an arm to stop her getting too close.
"Electricity arcs remember?" I told her, and she looked at me "I don't want you to get zapped, plus she has very little control over it as it is!"
"Lucy, for the love of god, I want to fucking hug her right now!" She pushed my arm aside and started forwards.
"Karen!" I started, but as soon as she stepped foward, arcs of pale blue lightning arced up her legs, pinning her in place. She stood rigid for 2 seconds, then, slightly smoking, fell forwards..

Karens P.O.V:
A flash of white light, and Karen was standing upright.
Looking around her, she was in what appeared to be a waiting room at the dentists, except there were no cheesy gossip magazines or young chirpy receptionist's, or the smell of disinfectant to greet ones nostrils.
The room had a dark, reddish hue to it. The chairs were dark leather, the floor was wood, probably Oak or something. There was no coffee table, or any kind of surface really.
Suddenly, the door directly infront of me opened and a women stepped out. She was wearing a white lab coat that stopped at hip height, But apart from that, and a pair of dark red panties, she wore little else. Karen was slightly shocked by this, usually wearing alot more than that when she went to bed. She was even more shocked my the womens voice, it was as smooth as velvet.
"He will see you now" was all she said, and she brushed past Karen, and disappeared in a cloud of blackness.
Puzzled, Karen opened the door and cautiously, entered.

Back to Lucy....
I was just staring at Karen, who was still slightly smouldering, my heart in my throat.
Isabella was just staring at the floor, not looking at either me or Karen.
"She's still breathing" I whispered. Issy said nothing.
"I just.. couldn't control it Lucy" she only managed to say.. the smell of ozone had faded by now. I lightly touched her shoulder, but all I got was a slight tingling sensation.
"She'll be alright" I said "She's had worse done to her, I swear she's made of titatium, not flesh and bone.." Issy smiled at that.

Meanwhile..
Karen stepped into a large, oval shaped room. Like the other room, the walls were this deep red, but the floor was covered in a cream carpet. An ebony desk stood in a circle of straight backed chairs before a fire, with deep blue flames.
In the tallest of the chairs, behind the desk, sat a man.
Well, a man with deep red skin, a snarling beast's head and piercing yellow eyes.
"Greetings my dear" it spoke with in a deep, baritone voice, slightly slurring the 'S's.
"Erm... Hi?" Karen replied, uncertainly.
The Demon, well, I guess that's what it was, chuckled.
"I won't hurt you, I can't, it's against my contract" it chuckled, opening one it's desk drawers and pulling out a small, leather bound book.
He proceded to ask my name, when Karen told him, he froze, put down his pen, and looked quizzically at her.
"Your time hasn't come yet my dear, it seems that you were destined for bigger things, but, fortunately, what you are makes you viable for a second chance"
"What am I?" Karen asked, slightly scared now, even though she was in this strange world.
"Well..." it replied "How to put it lightly... your a demon."
Karen just shrugged.
"You are not surprised?" it asked her, raising and eyebrow.
"No not really, I knew something was up with me, even though I do have my powers... are my powers there because I am a demon?"
"Yes" It said, closing the leather bound journal. "Now I can send you back, but, I'm sure we'll be meeting again soon" it continued, winking....

I watched as Karen sat up and yawned.
It was 4am. 3 hours till we get up for school, something I really cannot be bothered to do.
"You were out for a while mate" I said "Issy has fallen asleep, you'd better get more wink's, we've got school tomorrow"
Karen fixed me with a slightly drowsified annoyed look "I think I caught enough winks thanks, but can't we just call in sick after what happened at the gym? I just can't be bothered...." she put a very heavy emphasis on the word "bothered". "Also, I'm a demon" Karen added.
Was I dreaming? "You are what Karen?!" I nearly shouted, but remember Issy was asleep, so it came out as a strangled whisper.
Karen went through the whole story, of how she went to Hell (well, I assumed it was Hell) and discovered what she really was.
"Well" I said "That's messed up"
Karen just shrugged. "Well" I continued "At least you're not dead, your not much fun dead, you know?"
Karen smiled at that, I wasn't the best at making jokes, but hey, I have my moments.
"It's pointless going to sleep" Karen suddenly said, after 30 seconds of silence "Shall we just watch The Big Bang Theory and try not to piss ourselves laughing?
I grinned, just as I saw Issy walking down the stairs.
"Sounds like a plan" I eagerly replied"

hey guy's if you were old followers of me you will notice I am re-doing "Life's a Bitch". It will be a completely new format. It will focus more on advice on dealing with Issues and my personal experiences, so there will be less offensive chapters, especially about people I know, although I may be putting in examples of situations, but I will not mention names or specifics.
