I know I should be writing

But the blank page won't let me

I have so many, many thoughts

None of which seem to pop

I will not let the white page win

To let it, would be a writers sin

I contemplated what to do

In spite of white I felt I knew

Spilled my ink pot across the page

Threw my pen and walked away
