What do you tell the hopeless

How do you sell hope to the homeless

Whats the point of caring

if caring is what is pointless.

We pass by those inferior, everyday

Some more than others, in every way

When it costs to much to save

We smile and nod and wave,

yet we feel we must do something

for those who wait for us to do so.

To help them the most, we must

merely, just walk away
