MoonShadow blushed slightly; not so much about knowing she’d be seeing Ratchet soon, but because she’d been so see-through.

MoonShadow: “Um, right, I guess . . .”

            But Blade hardly noticed.

Blade: “So where’s your ship’s control room? Or, more specifically, autopilot system?”

MoonShadow: “Follow me.”

Happy for the subject change, she led them all outside the cave, and up the ramp into Cerebus. She left Jay and Raven in the passenger seating room, taking Blade to the control room and the panel with the autopilot system.

MoonShadow: “Just enter the coordinates there, and we’ll be on our way.”

Blade: “Got it.”

Blade easily entered the emergency coordinates she had memorized.

Blade: “It’s not exactly the base, but you’ll have a welcoming party to escort you to the final destination. That way, you can conceal your ship.”

MoonShadow: “Why? Where are we going?”

Blade: “Another desert of sorts. Hope you like the heat.”

Blade placed a servo on MoonShadow’s shoulder, aiming for a fond goodbye of sorts, but a shock went through her body, not one of pain, but of realization that she couldn’t erase. She kept her servo there on Shadow, as her optics widened and she realized just what the implications of this discovery were.

Blade: “Oh . . . that life signal . . .”

MoonShadow: “What? What is it?”

The green femme shook her helm.

Blade: “Nothing. I’m sure I’m mistaken.”

But the other femme was desperate.

MoonShadow: “Tell me, please.”

Blade: “No . . . I . . . I shouldn’t be the one to talk to you of this. My knowledge is limited.” *sighs* “I’m sure I’ll regret this, but talk to Arcee. She knows it better than I do.”

MoonShadow: “What? What should I talk to her about?”

            Blade drew back her servo.

Blade: “She’ll know. Just . . . try to control yourself.”

MoonShadow: “WHAT ON CYBERTRON IS GOING ON?!”
