I woke up at dawn before anyone came out and started wandering the streets, hoping no one would know that I slept on the streets. All of a sudden, the hairs on the back of my neck stuck up and I started to walk faster, knowing that someone was following me. "Don't walk away from me, that's very rude." I knew that raspy voice from anywhere. "No. It can't be." I whispered under my breath. I kept walking, making sure no one was on the street. Then, I turned around and whacked her in the face. I kept hitting her. And kicking. And punching. I heard many snaps, but I just kept going. I heard someone coming and ran. I heard the gasps of a group of girls and heard them about to turn the corner and I hid. They got someone from the red guard and went back to the woman laying there But I didn't care what they did. I was safe once again.

I wiped the sweat of my face and started to walk away. It had been well over an hour before I came out of hiding. Luckily, I wasn't on a busy street so I could come out of hiding without anyone caring to notice. I found a market and got something to eat. Since I didn't have anything to cook with, I stuck with vegetables. "Hua?" I heard in the distance. No. Why did they come looking for me? I thought to myself. I heard the voice come closer and I ran. I found a small alley and hid behind a dumpster. "It's no use!" I heard mamas voice scream. "She's gone." I heard the sound of muffled cries and couldn't help but tear up. No. Don't become weak. I have to do this. I'm sorry mama, but your tears won't help. I have to do this. I wiped the tears off my face and waited until they left to go out and continue my search for Shan.

I noticed that the prison was heavily guarded. I knew I would need some more time to come up with a plan, but I couldn't stop thinking about Shan and if he was dead or not. I couldn't wait any longer to get to him and make sure that he's okay. I need to get him back I thought to myself. I can't wait any longer. So I decided that tonight, I'm going to get my brother back.
