Chapter 5 || Goodbyes

  Y/N POV:

I woke up when someone shook me. I groaned and turn to the other side of my bed. The person keep shaking me and shaking me. I'm still half asleep.

"Go away dad.... I want... to sleep.." I said and went back to my position. He began shaking me harder.

"WHAT DO YOU WANT DAD!!!" I yelled and picked my blankets to cover my body head to toe.

"Hey.... Y/N..." I heard dad called and i ign- WAIT IS THAT GAARA?! I opened my eyes and saw gaara standing in front of me. I sat up and rubbed my eyes.

"Sorry Gaara... I thought you are dad...." I said. I yawned and stretched.

"So... Sup?" I asked he looks shy but manage to speak.

"Um... Uh.. Do..Do you want to go play with me? I mean play soccer or a ball..." He asked. I smiled and nodded.

"Okay! that's sounds fun! Wait lemme change first." I said and he nodded and leaved the room. I went to the bathroom , Took a shower and dressed and went downstairs. I saw 2 plates on the dinning table and gaara sat on a stool.

"How about dad? or temari-san?" I asked.

"They already ate." He said and i nodded and started eating. After we ate we went outside. People are staring at us. some of them are whispering.

"Hey? Why does that cute little girl with that monster?" One of them whispered.

"Shhh... She might hear us.." The other one said. I looked to gaara and he smiled. I returned the smile and went to the Building ally. That's our base xD. I started placing our toys on the ground and i felt Gaara staring at me?

"What?" I asked and he shook his head.

"I just want to ask you.." He muttered. I sat on the ground and listened to him.

"what is it?" I asked.

"Why....do you want me to be your...friend? I mean ya know no one likes me......." He said. He looked at me and i looked away blushing like madly. Hey guys! Lemme tell you a secret kay? BUT DON'T TELL GAARA!!!!! Okay here goes. ! ya know... I.. I really love Gaara! I mean.... He's my favorite anime Character in Naruto.... by the way back to the story! O/////O!

"Uhh... Are you okay? Your face is red.." He said. And placed his hand on my head. I blushed even more.

"No-nothings re-re-really wro-wron-wrong.... Ga-gaara.." I shuttered.

"Okay so.... can we play?" He asked and i smiled ...

"KAY!" I said. and we started playing.

[Time skip] [Excuse shikamaru's Laziness...] [Shikamaru: Troublesome woman...]

After we played we went home. We ate dinner and Gaara and i played a little more. I went to my bedroom and took a quick shower and get dressed. I saw dad sitting on the bed and he called me.

"Y/N.... We're going home tomorrow..." He said and i nodded. So we're leaving tomorrow? I'll miss Gaara....

"okay.. So let's go to sleep." I said and we went to sleep. After i woke up, I packed out things and placed it on he living room. I went to Gaara's room and saw him sitting on the bed.

"Gaara.." I called out.

"Yes ... I know Y/N-chan... You are leaving today..." He said sadly... I nodded.

"But don't worry! We will meet again one day! ANd hey wait! Lemme give me you something...." I said and pulled out a box.
---------------> I pulled out a pair of necklace from the box and handed it over to Gaara.

"This necklace will show and protect our friendship!" I said. He smiled and took the necklace on. I did the same too. I handed my pinky in front of him.

"Make me a promise... Promise me that you will not forget about me or Doubt me. Promise me that whenever people saying to you about me don't listen to them. And one last thing... Promise me.... That we will meet one day!" I said. he smiled and putted his pinky on my pinky. I laughed and he tackled me on the ground.

"I have a nickname for you Y/N" He said.

"What is it?"

"It's (Nickname)!" He said.

"Then i have a nickname for you too!" I said.

"It's (Nickname for Gaara)!!" You said and both of you laughed.

"I promise... You are my first friend..." He said. I nodded and went out to the room. He followed us to the gates and i bid goodbye to them. After that we started our journey back home....

"I'll miss you guys!!!" I yelled and waved at them.

'I'll miss you too Gaara..... I know one day we will meet again. With Kankuro , Temari and you..... but you will change.... I know that...' I thought and let out a sad sigh.
