Chapter 7 || Hokage's Gift

SMASH. I Smashed the clock and sat up. I rubbed my eyes and my swollen shoulder. Geezzz house chores attack me yesterday. I can bareley run anymore. I stood up and went to the bathroom, dressed up and went downstairs. I saw mom holding a cake. I was about speak when they interrupt me.

''Happy birthday Y/N!!!" My family yelled ang hugged me. I cried and thank them. It's been like how many years since i celebrated my birthdsy after my father died in the real world.

"Y/N.. after we celebrate the hokage want to meet you and he have a surprising gift for you." Dad told me and i nodded. Woah surprising gift? I wonder what is it. After we ate and celebrate we went to thr hokage's office.

"oh dear Y/N happy birthday! Are you ready to hear my surprising gift for you?" I nodded and looked to my family. Their expressions saddened. Why?

"my gift to you is..............." omg... he's going to tell me now... okay okay breath in.... breath out......... and listen!

"is... you are going to travel with two legendary sanins. That you will get stronger. Why am i telling you this? Because i heard... that some missing nins are targeting you. You have a special chakra inside you. You should know jow to get stronger. Will you accept my offer?" He asked. I looked to mom and dad and they gave me a sad smile and noddedn

"yes! i accept! Thank you old man!! But... how .. my family.." i trailed off. They hugged me and said.

"it's okay darling... just... we don't want you getting hurt... but remember we will going to miss you." Mom said and i hugged back.
"i will miss you to mom, dad.... you too shikamaru." I said and he told me he's going to miss me too.

"So when we will leave?" I asked.

"don't get to excited Y/N. come in you two." He said and 2 figures came in. I recognized them easily. Omggggg it's like dream cone trueeeee.... i'm to travel with two legendary sannins!!!!!

"oh you must be Y/N. This is Shizune" Tsunade said.

"Hi Y/N" Shizune said.

"yeah that's me and you are lady tsunade and jiraiya!!' I squealed. They all tensed.

"how do you know us?" Jiraiya said. Omg i need to lie wahhhh T^T.

"when we went to suna, i heard about you guys!" I said and they nodded.

" so when are we going to leave?" I said.

" you are too excited Y/N.. first you are going to travel with tsunade for 3 years... and another 3 years for jiraiya... and seems you are too excited you are going to leave tomorrow so pack you things okay?" He said and i nodded.

" thank you thank you thank you!!!" I said to the jokage and he patted my head. I tackled mt family on the ground and thanked them too. After a little talk we went home and mom helped me to pack up we went around the village to spend our one last time family outing. We went home after that and i bid goodnight to them and drifted to a deep slumber.

' i can't wait to wake up tomorrow! Omg it'a really happening!!!' i thought.

[Time skip]

i woke up and saw dad shaking me to wake up. I told him that i'm already awake.

" come on you will be late. Tsunade is already waiting outside.." he said and i stood up abd went to the bathroom. After i took a bath and ate breakfast my family walked me to the gates.

"we will miss you nii-chan" shikamaru said and i said.

"i'm going to kiss you too guys." I said and hugged them i turned around to hugged them again.

"one last hug." I said and smiled at them i bid goodbye to them and started walkibg off. I yelled ar dad to remind him something.

" don't forget what i said to you.... dad!" I yelled and he nodded.

" i already did it Y/N.." dad muttered and mom and shika looked at him confused.

"well let's go home..." he said and we went home.

[meanwhile in naruto's apartment]

naruto clutched the paper and cried.

"why do you have to leave? You are my first friend... what am i going to do without you?" He said and wipped his tears.

"i don't even have a chance to say good bye and happy birthday to you... come bacj safely okay? Wheb you come back... i'll going to bethe best ninja ever dattebayo!" He said. folded the paper and hid it. He didn't thew it because it's important for him because it's her bestfriend the one who gave it to her.

hahaha nice nickname don't ya think? So i'm gettong to the point now.. my birthday was yesterday.. but it's okay even you don't know... i had not told you about my self lately. So old man hokage gave me a gift. Want to know what? I'm going to travel with two legendary sannin! They are so strobg! Old man said that some missing nin ninjas are after me because i have a special chakra inside. I'm so happy! I'm going to travel 3 years for each sannins. So i'm gone for 6 years i think. I will going to miss you and my other friends.. don't be so guilty about not knowing or greeting me before i leave. I am going to leave tomorrow morning at 4. It's too early so you don't have a chance to say goodbye so... take xare naru-chan! I will come back safely! And i promise you...... i will come back before you know it!
