Chapter 4: School

Today is Wednesday and Katie, Anjelina, Bailey, Mackenzie, and I just woke up. We slowly get off of each other because we fell asleep on top of each other. Bailey and Mackenzie walk back over to Bailey's house to change, and I guess Katie and Anjelina are just going to wear the pants they have on and borrow one of my shirts or something because neither of them brought clothes.

........1 hour later at 7:45.........

"Okay c'mon!" I yell up the stairs to tell to girls it's time to leave.

"Okay!" They all yell back; not perfectly in sync.

We are all going to carpool because why not, right? Bailey and Mackenzie are going to ride with me, and Katie and Anjie will ride in Katie's car. I am guessing Anjie's car is still at the mall so we will drop her off there after school so she can get it.

On the way to school we talked about what homework we didn't do and about how my mom yells at me and about how Mackenzie's mom is doing with DJ's, her mom owns the place where we all, me Mackenzie and Bailey, work.

"She loves it." she says. "I even enjoy working there I don't know about you guys."

"I love it, too." I say. "It's really fun."

"Yeah, same." Bailey seems kind of distant today. I mean she has problems with her family and getting along with them too, but she was at my house all night and unless they said something to her when she went back over there to change, I don't know what's wrong with her.

I look over to see her staring out the window. I decide just to let her day dream instead of asking her about it. She would normally tell me without me asking, so this is a sign she doesn't really want to talk about it.

We finally arrive at school and park, when I look down at my phone to see that it is 8:17. School starts at 8:30 so we didn't get here at too bad of a time seeing that I live at the edge of the school district.

"Ahh school....." Bailey finally says something.

"Yeah," I say back. "My favorite part of the day..." I fake laugh. I have a feeling that today isn't going to be a great day.

......lunch time......

We have all of our classes together; me, Katie, Bailey. I have 4/7 classes with Anjie and 5/7 classes with Mackenzie. At least we all have lunch together. We get our lunch and then sit at our usual table which is in the very back corner of the lunch room because all of the preps and other students took the other tables. We don't really mind it though, because we are far away from the teachers that sit in the middle of the lunch room to baby sit all of us.

So far I have had two pop quizzes and my phone taken away for one period for texting and listening to music. It's not my fault I love Brendon Urie, he's hot, and the lead singer of my favorite band Panic! At The Disco. Bailey has been quiet most of the day and seems unfocused but I still don't know what's wrong with her, I may ask her later. Katie has been normal at least. She always says what she is thinking and never has a second thought. She is also so pretty.

I don't know if I have mentioned that about my friends but they are all so beautiful. Katie has those blue eyes and amazing hair and her make up is always perfect. Mackenzie has really curly hair and brown eyes and she is about my height which is 5'2". Bailey...she is just so perfect. She has those natural ringlet curls and beautiful smile. Anjie...... she has no words to describe her she is so pretty. And then there's me. I don't think I am as pretty as them, but they treat me like I look like a goddess. I'm like ummm no. I'm short, I have greenish blue eyes, long straight brown hair with side bangs, and I always wear a beanie and a tattoo choker. I don't know how they see me as pretty.

"Soooo how's your day been guys?" Mackenzie breaks the silence. everybody is being so distant today.

"Where's Anjie?" I ask ignoring her question.

"I don't know." Bailey finally talks for the first time all day.

"Whale...." Katie says; gesturing over towards the trash cans. We all turn to look and there she is over there arguing with her arch nemesis, Kayla. Pretty soon you can hear them screaming at each other which makes the lunch room noise die down. We all get up and bolt towards Anjie right as Kayla throws the first punch.
