-----Natalie's POV-----

I finally got the guts to call Jaime. God knows how many weeks have passed by, and i still haven't talked to him. It's not like he deserved a call from me, but it's what was right. I needed to call him to finally end everything.

"Hello?" he answered in a sleepy tone.

"Hi, Jaime. It's Natalie." i replied stuttering. He stayed quiet and didn't speak.

"Well i was just wondering if you had a chance to talk. You know, meet up." I spoke up. He stayed quiet, which kinda scared me.

"Um, sure. What time and where?" he finally spoke.

"Is today at 3 alright?" i asked.

"Yeah. Where do you want to meet up?"

"Meet me at the cafe by Rite Aid." i replied.

"Ok, i'll see you soon then." he hung up. I began getting dressed, it was 11:32 a.m and it took about an hour and 30 minutes to get back to San Diego. I heard the door open and i quickly covered my exposed breasts.

"Oh fuck, i'm sorry Natalie. I'll close the door." Austin said while he covered his eyes with one hand and looked for the door knob with his other. I quickly changed and opened the door. Austin was outside with his head lowered.

"Hey what's up?" i asked as i switched the light off.

"I'm so sorry Natalie. I forgot to knock, honestly." he said looking worried.

"It's not a big deal Austin, really." i replied.

"It's just i feel bad for what happened at Disneyland a while ago. I don't want to seem like a pervert." he said with his head down.

"It's ok. Don't worry."

"I'm really sorry about that by the way." he said smiling. His smile could always make me laugh like an idiot. I never realized how gorgeous he really was. The way his eyes would make little wrinkles around when he would smile, or how his skin would be stubby after not shaving for a while.

"Hello?" Austin said waving a hand infront of my face. I didn't realize i was spaced out, staring at him.

"Shit i'm sorry.. Hey Austin, i'm driving down to San Diego today, do you want to come?" i asked.

"Sure!" he replied.

"Ok, well I'm just going for my purse, i'll be in my car." I grabbed my shit and headed out the door. Austin came out shortly and sat in the passenger's seat. We buckled up and took off.

"So what's the occasion?" He asked.

"Well I thought about what you had told me, and you're right. I'm ending everything with Jaime. I just can't be like this anymore, it's killing me and i feel like if i stay with him, life would be hell."

"That's very brave of you to do. Respect."

"Thanks, Austin."

-----Jaime's POV-----

I had finally gotten a call from Natalie. I had no idea where she was, but she wanted to meet up to talk about the situatuion i'm guessing. It was really comforting to hear her voice again, maybe she wanted to work things out.

It was 2:30 and i got ready to leave. The cafe was only 10 minutes away, but i wanted to stop by a flower shop to buy roses. I stopped at Maria's Flower Shop and looked for a big bouqet.

"Whoa sorry- oh hey Tony?" i said as i bumped into Tony.

"Hey Jaime! what are you doing here?" he asked.

"Guess what. Natalie called me, she wanted to meet up and talk. I kinda want to surprise her with flowers as an apology."

"That's great man!" He said with flowers in his hand.

"Where are you going looking all spiffy?" I askeed.

"Well, i'm going on a date with the girl i've been telling you about. I want to ask her to be my girlfriend." he said as he lowered his head.

"Whoa that's awesome Tone! Good luck on that! I have to run, i'll stop by your place later tonight?"

"Yeah, after 9 i'll be home."

"Alright i'll see you then!" i said.

"Good luck with Natalie!" he said yelling.

I got in the car, it was already 2:50. I stepped on the pedal and drove to the cafe.

I didn't see Natalie's car, so i went inside. I ordered a coffee and sat a table near the back. Right at 3:00 she showed up. She saw me and walked over. I stood up from my seat to greet her.

"Hi Natalie." I said.

"Hi Jaime." She seemed tense.

"Here these are for you." i handed her the flowers.

"Thanks, they're very beautiful." she gave a weak smile.

"Please sit, would you like a coffee?" i asked.

"No thanks. Jaime i wanted to talk to you about something that's been bothering me for a while now." she said.

"I know. Look before you start, i want to apologize. I really mean it. And if you wanna work things out that's-" she looked down and looked back up again with tears in her eyes.

"What's wrong?" i asked.

"Jaime i don't want to argue, so i'm just going to say it. I really love you, but i think we need to end it." she was crying at this point.

"What do you mean end it?" i began getting worried.

"End us. I can't be with you, it's too much suffering. I love you Jaime, but I can't do this anymore." She got up from her seat and ran out the door. I ran after her in hope she would stop, but it was too late. The flowers were on the floor. I picked them up and threw them away. She's gone. The only person i could love so much and the only person who i cared about is gone.
