How well do you plot your stories?

Really, I have the beginning and the end of the novel sorted out well before the middle, honestly, because I think the beginning should be the first thing you come up with. How does the story start? Then you should think, how is the story is going to end? And then you can work from the beginning, to the end. How do you get from the beginning to the end? So I really do plot that out well. I think that’s how everybody should plot their stories, because if you don’t know how the story is going to end, how do you know where you’re meant to get to? How do you know how your character’s going to get there? How are you meant to come up with it, if you don’t know where you’re going? So that’s why I come up with the end first, but I do try to plot out the story as well as possible.

Do you think your friends and/or family would enjoy reading your stories?

Well obviously it depends on the person. I think some of them would enjoy it. Probably Crossover Sagas would be enjoyable with any of my family who enjoys science fiction, because it is more of a sci-fi thing, in a way, and it’s also fantasy at the same time, so anyone who enjoys those kinds of things would enjoy it. And really it would also depend on the novel, really, whether or not they would enjoy it.

If a friend or family member of yours was to write a story, would you make a serious attempt at reading it?

Yeah, of course, I would try and make an attempt to read it. I would make an attempt to read it, obviously, it would depend on how much time I have, but I would make an attempt to reading it. And if I don’t have the time, I would apologize to the author, and I will get around to reading it eventually. It just depends, really.

If life ever gets in the way, and prevents you from writing your stories, would you be fine with just thinking about them in your head until you die?

If I couldn’t write them myself, I would and see if I could get a ghost-writer. A ghost-writer would be the best solution, I think, because if I tell them my general idea, and ghost-writers are paid a sum to write the story, and that would probably help. But I don’t really think life would get in the way for me, because my plan for a career is not really one that would prevent me from writing, because I would have a lot of free time, and probably with my career, I might actually manage to get a few of the things I write actually produced as movies or TV shows. So I don’t think life will get in the way, really. Hopefully, anyways; if it does, then I wouldn’t be content with keeping in my head. I would probably put it down somewhere and hope someone would come along and write it. But, you know.
