The Hunger Games: Skyes story *completed*

The Victor

As i approach marvel he lets out a sigh.
"Go ahead skye. Kill me. You killed everyone else." He puts his hand on my shoulder and grabs my wrist. I reject and try to lunge the knife into him but his grip on my wrist is too strong. He squeezes my wrist making me yelp and drop the knife.
"HEY WHAT GIVES?!" I scream
"Skye what is wrong with you? Why are you acting like this? Y-you killed not only the people that you trusted but...Cato...you killed him. Skye, I hate to break it to you but you've been hijacked. The game makers used the fog to hijack you hoping that you would be crazy enough to kill yourself!"
I look at him like he's crazy.
"Skye...go ahead," he picks up the knife and puts it in my hand. "Kill me. I-I don't want to do this anymore." He takes my hand and points it at his heart.
"Do it Skye. You can go home." Tears roll down his face. "WELL! WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR SKYE! DO IT!"
I give him a blank stare. He grabs my knife and stabs himself with it. I blink and shake my head. The words are just now processing.
"The game makers used the fog to hijack you hoping that you would be crazy enough to kill yourself!"
Wait what?! I look over to Marvel who is barely breathing.
"MARVEL NO!" I scream
"SKYE?! Y-your back!" He coughs out. "Goodbye Skye."
Marvels cannon fires. I look around at the dead bodies around me. I see Cato.
"CATO!" I screech and run over to him.
"I-I killed you!" Tears stream down my face and I can barely breathe. Then i realize something. Im the last tribute left. I am the victor.
"All my friends. They died because of me..."
I give the 3 fingered salute and walk off towards the cornucopia. When i distanced myself from the final kill, the games out over. An announcement comes on.
"Congratulations to Skye Aishi from district 2!"
Then a hovercraft comes and picks me up. A Capitol attendant comes and gives me a drink.
"Here. Take this." She says and gives it to me.
I take the drink and after I take it i start to get woozy.
"Hey...what was in here?" I ask
"Nothing to worry about sweetie. Relax." She says
Then everything goes dark.
