"Shell," Donatello mutters. Casey's call dropped before he could get a full sentence out, but Donatello heard what was important. The Necromancer sent someone after him.
"What's going on? Is Casey alright?" Sarina asks. She got up from her work station when Donatello answered the phone and now she lingers behind him, eager for answers.
"No, I don't think he is. Can you track his last location? I'll let the others know," he says as he gets up.
Sarina nods. "Affirmative."
He emerges into the living room. Raphael and Annalise play video games while Leonardo, Destiny, and Michelangelo play a heated game of Uno. Destiny curses Leonardo and his skip card just as Donatello enters.
"Guys, we've got a distress call from Casey," Donatello calls. Games pause all around. "Something about the Necromancer."
Destiny immediately forgets about her anger at Uno as she stands, her tail lashing. "Where is he?" she demands.
"Sarina's tracking his phone. The call dropped but we should be able to track his last location—" Donatello's phone dings and he glances at it. "Okay, she sent the coordinates."
"I'm on it," Destiny says. She sweeps her foot over the Uno pile and sticks her tongue out at Leonardo. "Oops."
"You're a sore loser, Des," Leonardo says, shaking his head as he smirks.
"I can't hear you, I'm saving Casey!" Destiny calls over her shoulder, jogging for the front gate.
"Hold up, Des, I'm coming with you," Raphael says. He tosses the game controller to Michelangelo as he passes. "Mikey, do me a favour and kick your girlfriend's butt at Smash Bros for me."
"You got it, bro!" Michelangelo says, settling down next to Annalise in front of the TV.
"You wish. I've got skills you can't even imagine," Annalise says as she rolls her shoulders in anticipation.
"I've got a good imagination, cupcake."
Leonardo pouts at the loss of his fellow players. "Right when I was finally winning," he mutters. He starts cleaning up the cards. "Be safe, guys!"
Destiny gives him a two-finger salute as she dips from the lair with Raphael close behind.

"Coordinates say he was around here," Raphael says. "Des—"
"I've got his trail," Destiny says, following Raphael from the air. She drops to the rooftop, sniffing the air, and her ears tuck close to her head. "Shit."
"What?"
"I smell blood."
Raphael picks up the pace. Destiny catches sight of Casey first as they reach the edge of the rooftop, a sharp gasp leaving her. She hops off the roof, using her wings as a parachute while Raphael takes the slower way down.
She kneels by Casey's side, ears twitching. She can hear his pulse thrumming steadily despite his limp form and with a cursory glance, she notes a scratch on his cheek and three bleeding cuts on his knuckles. She doesn't smell anything like the sickly stench that clung to Raphael when he got attacked by Beast Mode, but the iron tang of blood is strong and she realizes that the dark puddle under Casey's head isn't water.
Raphael approaches, dropping to Casey's side. "The shell happened, man?" he mutters.
"Donnie said that Casey said it was the Necromancer," Destiny says. She looks around, her nostrils flaring, tail still and alert. Goosebumps crawl over her arms as she bares her teeth. Something doesn't smell right.
