*Roman's pov*
Continued..
My world was crashing around me...my wife had been shot...hundreds of miles away from me...I found the first possible flight and booked it to Hawaii...when I got there I didn't wait for anyone I got a rental and sped to the hospital I was told she was at...I found my family sitting in the waiting room.."Where is she?"
Mom stood up "Honey calm down...Ali needed a break so Dean brought the kids down the street to me...when Big went to check on her that Kyle guy had found his way in and was beating Ali......"
I looked at Big E "What happened next?"
Big E sighed "I got him and stated beating his ass...sorry Mrs Reigns...but somehow he got my gun and held it on Ali...Dean snuck in and they shot at the same time...Dean's shot killed Kyle...we didn't know Ali was hit till we looked at her...I'm sorry man I tried to save her...I couldn't stop him.."
I ran my hands through my hair.."How is she...is she alive?"
Mom nodded "She lost a lot of blood baby they lost her once on the table but they brought her back...he beat her up pretty bad...she hasn't woke up yet.."
I shook my head "I want to see her.."
She sighed "Not till you calm down...she doesn't need you upset."
I rubbed my face "Upset...upset...my wife has been shot...she had the hell beat out for what because her mother gave her a better life with Hunter...my children could lose their mother and everyone wants me to calm down...my life is in that room..."
Mom pulled me into her arms and just held me the best she could
I broke down "I can't lose her mom...I can't live without her..."
She shook her head "And you won't baby...if I've learned anything about Ali in these past 3 years is she doesn't give up easy...but Roman she needs you now more than ever you need to be the rock she needs.."
I nodded "I need to see her.."
Mom nodded "Go.."
I nodded after finding out what room they had her in I walked in and it broke my heart...the bruises and cuts on her face...on her arms..her neck...the machines all around her...I gently took her hand in mine my thumb brushing over the tattoo on her wrist two Hawaiian lilies in Kellan and Liam's birthstone colors..she had yet to add Madilyn's...."You have to wake up baby girl...I need you...our kids need you...I can't do this without you....I can't raise them without you...you have to open those beautiful blue eyes tell me you love me...tell me I worry too much....I need to know you're not leaving me...I can't be as strong as Dean...baby you're the reason I'm still here you're the reason I wake up every morning...you keep our family going...Ali please baby wake up..."
"Keep doing that it helps..."
I looked up seeing an older nurse "Talking?"
She nodded "Yeah...hearing your voice will help...urging her.."
I nodded "Yeah.."
She gave me a small smile "Her vitals are very good that's a great sign...she just needs a little urging to wake up."
I nodded "Thank you.."
She smiled "Marie..."
I nodded "Thank you Marie..."
Marie nodded and walked out
I sat just rubbing her hand eventually dozing off in the chair...I felt someone's hand on my arm...I slowly opened my eyes to see Ali awake "Thank god.."
Ali gave me a small smile "I feel like hell.."
I leaned down pressing a gentle kiss to her lips "I love you so much.."
She nodded "I love you too.."
I brushed her hair out of her face "You're gonna be okay baby..as soon as they say I can I'm taking you and our kids back home.."
Ali nodded "Are they okay?"
I nodded "They're perfect..."
She nodded "And me?"
I sighed "Honestly baby he did a number on you but you'll heal...the bullet missed all the important stuff but you lost a lot of blood."
Ali sighed "I'm gonna go back to sleep...don't Keane me okay."
I shook my head "Never again.."
She smiled softly "Good.."
I watched as Ali fell back asleep...I went out into the rental and brought my bag in then took a shower..after letting everyone know she was okay I settled down and got some sleep
