*Ali's pov*
It was hard to put my best friend to rest even more for Dean...he was on his own now with a newborn baby...I helped him as often as I could all of us did...Roman even picked up keeping his lawn in order...I arrived at Dean's house after closing a little early to releave the babysitter Dean hired so he could return to work...I picked up Adeline giving her a bottle while Kellan and Liam sat contently watching cartoons "Hey sweetie I'm just here to help your daddy out till he gets home.."
Kellan looked up "Mommy are we eating with Uncle Dean?"
I shook my head "No baby...as soon as Uncle Dean gets home we're going home to cook dinner for your daddy."
He nodded "Where is Addy's mommy?"
I felt my heart sink how do you explain this to a 4 year old..."Well Kel Addy's mommy had to go away.."
Kellan nodded "Nana said Aunt Anna had to go to heban to watch Addy, me and Iam..."
I sighed deeply but nodded "Yeah baby...your Aunt Hannah is watching over you and your brothers...but you know me and your daddy are counting on you as is your Uncle Dean to make sure Addy knows how awesome her mommy was."
He smiled "I will mommy.."
I smiled down at him "Mommy is gonna put Addy to bed you watch TV okay...I'll be right back down."
Kellan nodded "Okay mommy.."
I sighed and took Adeline upstairs and got her changed and settled in her crib..I watched her for a moment before flipping on the baby monitor and carrying the other end with me..I walked down as Dean walked in "She's asleep."
Dean sighed "Thanks Ali."
I nodded "Don't mention it...and I put a casserole Patty sent in the oven..."
He nodded "Can I ask you a favor Roman told me to ask you."
I nodded "Of course.."
Dean sighed "I have to take Addy to get shots tomorrow I have no idea what I'm supposed to do...you've been though the baby shots and I just..."
I placed a hand on his arm "What time is her appointment?"
He sighed "12."
I nodded "I'll be over here a little before...I'll go with you."
Dean sighed "I'll feel awful asking you to do all this...you have so much on your plate your 6 weeks away from having a baby..."
I shook my head "Hannah was my best friend...I'd be here helping even if this hadn't happened...I'd told you Dean we are here for whatever you need us to do.."
He nodded "I'm looking for a smaller house...not because of room but every thing in here was Hannah's doing even the paint and it just hurts it hurts looking at that little girl..."
I nodded "Whatever you need me to do I'm here."
Dean nodded "I appreciate all you and Roman have done for me these first couple months I couldn't of made it without you but now I have to be the father she deserves who Hannah wanted me to be...you are weeks away from giving birth I can't ask you to keep this up...Patty offered to keep Adeline for me during the day while I work.."
I nodded "Okay...just don't forget you need us for anything call.."
He gave me a small smile "I will..now go home and be with your family Ali..me and Addy will be fine.."
I nodded with a smile "Yes sir.."
Dean laughed softly pulling me into a hug "Thank you for everything Ali.."
I smiled softly "You're welcome..."
He nodded "Now go.."
I nodded and got the boys then we went home...after dinner I got the boys to bed...I changed into pajama pants and one of Roman's shirts and got to cleaning...I sighed as I felt Roman's hands rest on my belly..."I'm okay.."
Roman kissed my shoulder "Dean is right Ali...he needs to stand on his own...you need to focus on our boys...make sure this little guy gets here safely...I couldn't handle anything happening to you."
I sighed deeply "I know...I know Dean is going to do great...it just breaks my heart."
He nodded "And that's why I love about you..you care so deeply for the people you love...Hannah was your best friend your better half in many ways...you lost a part of you that day...just the same as Dean and Addy...you feel protective over Addy because you lost your mom so young...but baby Dean needs to do this alone be the dad we all know he can be."
I looked at him I could feel the tears burning my eyes I hadn't shed a tear since the day Hannah passed..I was numb I lost the girl who was basically my sister "I find myself wanting to call her...I keep waiting for her to walk through the front doors of the shop but she never does...she was part of me Ro...she was my soulmate.."
Roman caressed my cheek "I know baby girl...the day we got married...when I left to get things done I had Hannah on the phone she helped me make sure I got it right...she knew you like the back of her hand she didn't even have to see anything to help me pick out the ring she just knew what you would love..."
I shook my head moving fully into my husband's arms after 2 years of marriage, two babies, and an adoption I was still falling in love with him every day.."I love you.."
He kissed the top of my head "I love you too baby girl."
I nodded slight "Help me finish this."
Roman nodded "Of course."
I smiled softly after we finished the kitchen we decided to crash and honestly it felt pretty great
