"You press play & I fast forward."

It was around one when we woke up to head down for the meeting. I woke up and blinked blearily down at Wesley who was still asleep, his face buried in the pillow and I let a smile slip into my face before shaking my head to rid it of such though. I shook him by the shoulder before ruffling his hair.

"Wes, wake up, we have to go down for the meeting." I said softly as he began to stir and looked up at me blearily.

"What time is it?" Wes asked drowsily.

"Just past one." I replied and Wes sat up as quick as lightning almost head-butting me in the process.

"Easy does it." I chuckled as Wes hurriedly looked for a suitable top to wear, resulting in a plain white tee with fraying sleeves.

"Ready to go?" He asked, chucking his feet into his untied Air Jordan's and I raised an eyebrow at him, bending over to tie the laces on my Nikes.

"Better not trip and fall, don't want to ruin that pretty face of yours." I teased, getting to my feet and patting Wes on the shoulder while grabbing my phone and wallet before leaving, Wes giving me the most appalled look ever making me wonder where I'd gathered such courage to say that.

Nick and Martjin were already at the lift entrance by the time we walked out and we rushed in, down to one of the event rooms to meet the rest.

The meeting had been quite boring to say the least and a real pain to endure and I could tell Jordy was ready to use Daan as a human cushion at any moment, his eyelids dropping ever so often. I had to continuously stare at the wall on the other side of the room and occasionally listen in to the conversation to keep me updated but apart from that I was in a completely different world.

Until Wes snapped his fingers in front of my face almost making me flail around like some fish out of water. He snickered.

"Meeting's over Tals, let's go." He said and I glanced down at my phone. Christ it was already three-thirty.

"Time to go exploring." He got to his feet and waited for me to follow.

"You two not getting any sleep?" Daan asked, Jordy already half asleep on his shoulder, stroking the sleepy guy's hair. Those two weren't even trying to hide their affection for each other.

"Oh no, they got plenty of sleep earlier." Martin wiggled his eyebrows and I promptly flipped him the bird before leaving smugly.

"So where to?" I asked Wes as we walked out of the hotel. It was still sunny and I regretted not bringing my shades.

"Well you said you wanted to explore a little so, let's explore then? There's this really good place I know of and we could drop by Starbucks for a fix along the way." He suggested and I gestured for him to lead the way.

We walked for a bit, exchanging banter as we dropped by Starbucks to pick up our drink, Wes with his green tea frappucino and my caramel macchiato much to his surprise.

"I thought you liked it strong?" He raised an eyebrow humorously as we continued on our way. It was getting a bit hot and I regretted not wearing a tee shirt instead.

"Not all the time you dork." I laughed and nudged his side playfully. He grinned and pointed out the shop ahead which was apparently called "More".

"Cupcakes? A guy like you likes cupcakes?" I exclaimed upon arriving, rather amused and Wes rolled his eyes.

"Oh please gender stereotypes are so last year." He huffed and led me inside to the array of cupcakes on display.

"What would you like?"

"Oh no you're not treating."

"Yes, I am." Wes insisted and I frowned at him while he raised an eyebrow cockily at me. I sighed reluctantly and pointed at the red velvet.

"Two red velvets please." He ordered the paid for the two before handing me one.

"Christ these are good." I mumbled through the cupcake which was surprisingly good. (I didn't have the best history with cupcakes...)

And yet again, Wes got frosting on his face.

"What is it with you and frosting or all things made of cream?" I laughed and looked for a napkin only to find none around. Wes got crossed eyed trying to lick the frost off and completely failing.

"Here." I sighed, licking my thumb and cleaning off the frosting from the corner of his mouth and his nose.

"It's a habit." Wes stuttered out after I licked off the cream cheese frosting. I was definitely coming back for more cupcakes.

"These are the best cupcakes I've ever had." I said, finishing off my cupcakes not noticing Wes' flushed face. "Where to next?"

Wes cleared his throat, finishing his cupcake before grabbing my hand and leaving.

"We are going shopping." He said firmly and I raised an eyebrow at his sudden change in mood and forced myself to not to retract my hand and make things awkward even though a part of me enjoyed it. Despite everything.

We walked to one of the nearby malls and Wes led me inside to look around.

"Go wild." He said and I gave him a pointed look.

"Just because I'm a girl doesn't mean I love shopping." I retorted and he smirked cockily with the look that said you-sure-you-don't?

"However, I do need more sweaters. And shirts." I continued and scampered off leaving Wes to chase after me with a "whoa, wait up!"

I dragged him to H&M, Topshop, Superdry, A&F and some other places before we ended up back where we started with smoothies in hand and like four bags of shopping from the amount of sweaters I had purchased along with a multitude of crop tops and loose-fitting shirts. Wes picked up a pair of Adidas and a new SnapBack upon my request that he had get something and not make me look like some shopaholic.

"It's gonna be seven, wanna go for dinner?" Wes asked, glancing at his phone, tossing his empty smoothie cup. Jesus he drank fast, I wasn't even half done.

"Sure, where to?"

"Pizano's Pizza and Pasta here we come!" Wes cheered and walked me out of the place.

Dinner would be interesting to say the least, if not a little dangerous.

The outing seemed fine so far, nothing more than a friendly get together.

It wasn't a date.

(Not that secretly I wanted it to be.)

Wes' hand had slipped back into mine as we walked and I stopped myself from jumping at the contact.

But maybe Wes wanted it to be...?
