Christina's POV||

I have been nothing but exhausted for the last month and a half. I'm tired all the time, I have no life anymore, and I just feel like I'm doing it all by myself. Don't get me wrong, Blake is great; I just wish he were here more.

I was home alone, and I just put the twins to sleep. I figured I would try to go to sleep too, until I heard the front door open.

"Babe?"

I stood at the top of the stairs as Blake walked up, and I shushed him. "Hey. I just got the babies to go to sleep."

He nodded and kissed my cheek, then we went in my room. I lied on the bed and tried to stay awake since he's here.

"Where's Chasity?" he asked, lying next to me.

"She went to the mall with Arielle and Trenton."

He smirked and ran his hand down my side, making me uncomfortable. "So...we're alone?"

I faked a smile and nodded as he leaned in to kiss me. I don't want him to think I don't want to have sex with him, because I do. I'm just not ready for him to see my post-baby body.

He managed to get my shirt off while he kissed me, and I felt exposed and disgusted. I pushed his hands down, and he looked at me skeptically.

"What's wrong?"

"I don't really want you to see me naked right now," I said, "can we do something else?"

He sat up on his elbow and continued to look at me. "What are you talking about? I've seen you naked plenty of times."

"I know, but that was before when I was pretty and in shape," I said on the verge of tears. "Can we please just do something else?"

I probably sounded really annoying to him, but I hope he can respect what I'm asking him.

"Yeah, I'm sorry. I don't wanna make you do anything that's uncomfortable for you." He kissed my forehead and sat up, allowing me to put my shirt on. "I'm going to DJ's house. I'll be back."

"But...you just got here." I furrowed my eyebrows a little and crossed my legs Indian style. "You're mad, aren't you?"

I got off the bed and walked past him, but he grabbed my arm before I got out the room.

"I'm not mad." He sounded more like he was trying to convince himself instead of me.

"Then why are you leaving?"

He looked down at me, but he didn't say anything. He just wiped my tears away and pulled me into a hug.

"I promise you, I'm not mad. I just forgot I was hanging out with DJ today," he said, rubbing my back comfortingly. He kissed me and told me he'd see me later, then he just left.

Blake's POV||

"I can't believe you lied to Chris," DJ said, "and dragged me in it."

DJ & I went to see a movie, and he hasn't stopped complaining since we got here.

"Alright, I get it man, damn."

We walked out to the parking lot, and he leaned against his car, crossing his arms.

"Do you ever think you take Chris for granted?" he asked me.

"No." I furrowed my eyebrows and crossed my arms. "Why?"

"Well...she wanted to spend time with you, but you just left her alone. You're never really with her anymore, and she just had your babies. And you know you'll get away with it; that's why you do it. You're taking advantage of her kindness."

I never really thought about that until DJ said something about it.

"I guess you're —"

"Blake?" I turned to my left, and Lauren was walking in our direction. "Hey, I haven't seen you in a long time. Hi, DeAndre."

He cut his eye at her and waved her off, not paying her much attention. He never really liked her.

"Lauren, to what do we owe the pleasure of you coming over here? Out of the blue?" DJ asked dryly.

"I was waiting on a tow truck, and I saw you two over here," she said, "I thought I'd come say hi."

"Lovely story," he said, completely uninterested, "anyway, I gotta go. I have more important things to do. Like go get hit by a truck."

He opened his car door to leave, until he heard me ask something that even shocked me.

"Do you need a ride home?" I asked Lauren.

I felt him grab the back of my shirt, then he dragged me to the side. "Are you stupid? Or are you stupid?"

"Man, what? I was just being nice," I said, raising an eyebrow.

I didn't think it was that big of a deal to offer her a ride, but apparently it was.

"How about you be nice and call fucking Uber for her ass." He was kinda loud, and I knew she heard him. "You need to go home to your girlfriend and kids."

"Look, I'm just gonna take her home, then I'm gonna go back to Chris' house. It's no big deal."

"Thanks for the ride," Lauren said, taking off her seatbelt, "do you wanna come inside for a minute?"

"No."

I just want you to get out my car so I can leave.

"Come on, Blake. Don't you wanna be a gentleman and at least walk me to the door?"

I sighed and walked her to her door so she would leave me alone. I made sure she was in the house, then turned to go back to the car, but she pulled me inside.

"I heard your 'best friend' just had a baby," she said bitterly, "congratulations."

"Yeah, whatever. I gotta go."

I put my hand on the doorknob, and she jumped in front of the door, blocking it off. Maybe DJ was right.

"Why are you in such a rush to get home?" she asked, running her index finger down my chest. "I've missed you, Blake, and I know you miss me. Why don't you just stay for a while? We can do all the fun things we used to do."

She ran her hand up my thigh, and I rolled my eyes and moved her hands off my body.

"No thanks."

"Why not? It's not like you & Christina are having sex right now; you might as well have sex with someone."

She put her hands on my chest and tried to kiss me but before her lips could even touch me, I moved her out of the doorway.

"Unlike you, I'm not a cheater."

I left, quickly got in my car and sped to Chris' house. I'd rather not have sex at all than cheat on Christina.
