When The White Wolf Howls

Chapter twenty

I was in a meadow, lying with Liam. My belly swollen with twins, every breath I heaved was ragged due to my current state.

I turned to face the love of my life with irritation in my eyes.

"see what you've down to me?"

"baby it'll all be over soon, three more months."

"yes but three months of getting fatter and looking like death."

Liam let out a loud joyful laugh, the happiest I've seen him in ages.

"don't laugh at me Liam."

"I'm not laughing at you! I'm laughing at your commemt. You look sexy swollen with our pups. You look damn sexy all sweaty with your breathing erratic. Infact...." The mischievous look in his eyes was enough for me to melt. He leaned his mouth over closer to mine. His lips pressing to mine in a simple sweet kiss.

"I love you so much." he whispered against my lips. I rested my head against his.

"I love you too babe. Always and forever."

"forever? I love the sound of that." he said with a big dopey grin on his face.

How long could I keep this secret from him. A secret that would end his life. As he knew it.

I woke up with a start, my wolf howling in my head. In pain.

With a whine she silenced leaving me perplexed about my dream and confused as to why she would react to a dream like that.

"Callie? What's wrong baby."

"I-I don't know." I muttered confusedly.

"Tell me Callie?" he asked.

"I had a d-" **noooooo!* my wolf howled. ***please, you can't tell him. No I won't let you. He'll find out himself. Later****

What was it with her? What did she mean later? I could feel Liam's wolf warning him something was wrong. My wolf pleaded with his wolf to leave it and he granted.

"I don't know what's wrong but your wolf seems upset about something and my wolf has eased her by not letting me ask you what's wrong. So you tell me on your own time." he said slowly, clearly puzzled. " but let me assure you I don't like this one bit."

I dropped my gaze away from him and towards the window. It was solid black. As black as night.

"What time is it?" I murmured.

"hmm? Oh, em..." he lay back and turned in the bed away from me, his back muscles clenching immediately distracting me from my nightmares. A small moan escaped my mouth as my hand reached out and traced his broad shoulders. His muscles tensing and freezing under my hand. I wrapped my arms around his waist pulling my front flush with his back. I shyly leaned forward and pressed my lips onto the back of his neck. A quiet whimper left his lips as I ,now, bravely sucked on his neck. Leaving a mark. I dragged my teeth gently across his neck and he growled and flipped round in my arms, pushing me under him and crashing his lips to mine. I tugged his top over his head breaking the kiss for mere seconds before his was on mine again, tongues tangling together. His hands firmly attached to my waist under my shirt. He tugged his lip with my teeth and he let out a playful growl and yanked my shirt of my head, bra soon following. He took his time observing my body before dropping his head and kissing my neck, under my jaw. Shivers ran up my spine causing me to arch my back and grip his hair. Moaning at the soft feel of it and the pleasure I was feeling. His lips trailed up to my ear, before his teeth nipped it and I squirmed. He let out a quiet throaty chuckle.

"you're so beautiful." he whispered, causing me to blush bright red.

"now you blush." causing me to go redder. "you look sexy when your flustered. I suppose we better stop before I mate you." he began to pull away but I snatched his strong bicept. Remembering my dream, suddenly needing him closer than ever, securing our bond and resting my mind that he wouldn't be taken from me.

"Do it." I whispered.

"what?" he questioned astonished.

"Mate me....now."

"you don't sound so sure. Baby dont feel pressured into anything. I love you no matter how long we wait. A relationship isn't just about sex. That'd just be a bonus of being with you Calls"

I bit my lip and could feel my eyes turn black. He gasped in shock and rested his head against mine Fighting his wolf.

"I want you to mate me, I need you. Now!" I moaned bringing his lips crashing to mine.

My legs wrapped around his waist and he lifted my hips from the bed and dropped his elbows to either side of my waist, kissing down my jaw, down my neck, hovering at my collar bone to suck on it, dragging his hot, moist tongue down in between my breasts. I moaned as electricity flowed through every blood cell in my body, all screaming for him to take me. And quickly. His tongue slipped lower still as he paused at the hem of my leggins and sucked on the soft skin of my stomach. As he tugged my leggins down the door flew open. Liam's body immediately covered my own, blocking me from jace's unwanted gaze.

"do you's mind keeping it down? It's four o'clock in the morning! Im trying to get some sleep."

"Would you mind not opening a door without knocking and looking at my mate like that." Liam snapped.

"Guys come on. Behave. Sorry Jace. There is a spare room down stairs on the right. First door on the left."

"with all due respect Callie I'm not moving room. Anyway isn't it a bit early in the relationship for you too to be at it."

"Fine don't move. We will. Come on Liam." I pushed him up. Well tried.

"we are not going anywhere until he's out of here!"

"you's damn men, you act like children! It's so infuriating. I do what I want okay. When I want to mister do you hear me." I snapped, jabbing his chest with my finger.

"but-"

"eh! No don't but me. Now get off me !"

"I can't do that!" he cried frustratedly.

I felt a power building in my chest, causing pain which I had forgotten about.

"get...off...me." I hissed through clenched teeth. He immediately bowed his head and removed his body from mine. Anger and hurt clear in his eyes.

"don't follow me either of you! That's me asking not commanding. Now don't ever make me do that to you again Liam. As an Alpha you are to control your pack. I will do my best to follow those rules but let's not forget, I am the White wolf and an Alpha and I WILL use my power when needed. Even if it is you." I rose from the bed and grabbed his shirt, flinging it on and the blanket off the end of the bed.

"Now goodnight, no more fighting, and Liam?"

He lifted his head to meet my gaze.'

"we will continue this later, we were just getting to an interesting point. Love you." I winked and left the room, patting Jace's cheek on my way out.

***men*** my wolf sighed.
