Royal - Chapter 14

"Your in so much trouble. Mason is loosing his mind. Zane can't even get him to calm down. Do you know how much of an offense this is." All three of my house mates barged into my room.

"Wait what are you doing?" Erica pushed past the guys.

"Leaving. April talked to her Alpha and I'll be staying there until I can get a hold of my parents to come get me. Or until your Alpha grants me permission on his pack grounds again" I was cleaning up the last of my things. I was a fast and diligent packer.

"So you mean he already kicked you out." Brenden fell lazily onto my bed.

"Yeah. April will be waiting for me outside the pack grounds. So if you guys could help me with these. "

"No! "Erica slapped both guy's hands away from my bags. "She's not leaving. Beta Mason is your mate. He wouldn't want you to leave. Just go talk to him. Apologize so you can stay. Nate go talk to Nyla. "

"I will not apologize to him. I won't be talked down to. He's wrong I'm right end of story. Now stop interfering with me moving out." I handed my bags off to the guys. They offered to drive me down to the borderline.

"This isn't me giving up. I'll call all the time. I'll see you at school. Plus I hear that April's Alpha is cool with letting people go out into the human world. So if you need me I'll meet you anywhere." I smiled at my sad friend. She looked like her mom just told her no to having a puppy.

"Fine. If you won't talk to him I will" she bolted out the house. I couldn't let her go alone so I followed hesitantly.

When we reached Beta Mason's house Erica thought it was in best interest to pound on his door. He opened the door shirtless and water droplets falling from his perfectly toned body.

I forced my eyes to pull away. Both Erica and Beta Mason were starting at me.

I turned around to face the other direction so he couldn't see the blush that was making an appearance.

"Beta Mason, I'm asking you to ask Alpha Zane not to kick Amara out of our pack." Erica pleaded

"Why isn't she the one asking me." Beta Mason made my heart beat faster but at the same time made my blood boil. It was always something about him.

"Because she is ok with leaving. She is ok with never having to see your face again. Also because she will never be talked down to , because if that happens one more time she will loose her mind." Erica punched me for making that comment.

" you heard her. She doesn't need me. Let her leave"

"I will. Don't call when you'll be missing me"

"Oh babe, you'll be needing me before I'll ever need you. I went 23 years without you, a few more couldn't hurt" his crossed his arms over one another causing his muscles to flex. I was going to whip that stupid little smirk off his face.

"That's right because if you need to get on top of something Veronica will be less than a mile away. Please don't let me stop you from what you really want. " Beta Mason seemed to be taken back by that comment because his once smug face was now till of anger, pain and regret.

"I'm sorry Erica. I'll see you at school" I tried to give her a hug but she pushed me away.

"Just leave."

"Sorry." I rushed down the stairs into the black SUV waiting for me. What nobody knew was that I wasn't going to April's pack. She didn't even know I got kicked out of this one. I was planning to live amongst the humans until I get a hold of my parents.
