Royal-Chapter 13

A/N: Another chapter just for you guys!  Amara is going through a little bit of personality change. She's gotten comfortable and started to spread her wings a little. Maybe to much.   Just some upcoming news: my Christmas break will start soon so more chapters for you all as well. Also  I will be another year older at the end of this week. I'm very excited!  Thanks to everyone who puts up with me and my late and long overdue chapters.

The whole conversation my head stayed down. I didn't feel like watching this whole 'I can't love you cause my mate showed up' show down.

"So basically what your saying is out with the old and in with the new. " Veronica said coldly.

"Veronica. Stop, this isn't how things were supposed to go" my head shot up and a feeling of resentment washed over me.

"Is there a point in me being here. I'm starting  to fee like more of an emotional punching bag that a third party in this conversation."

"Amara I didn't mean for that" Beta Mason stood up to come over to where I was standing. I put my hand up for him to stop.

"I'm so so sorry that I ruined your plans." I stated this toward Veronica. "But being here is hurting me so I'm going home."

He reached out grabbing me. My body instantly burst with tingles. I jumped back at the shock. "Please stay."

"I can't."  I walked out the house. I knew that walking away from your mate was awful but I needed to get myself together. First off by calling my mother.

"Wake up! We have school and the guys are trying to cook again" Erica was screaming over the fire alarm.

"I know! I'll be down in twenty. Just shut that damn thing off please."

"Not into you get in the shower" it took me a few seconds but I did. We moved into Nate's house yesterday. Everyone has there own room and this way Nate has a reason to keep his house. I pulled off my contacts flushing my eyes with the drops that came along with it. I was constantly wearing them I had forgotten that my eyes were purple. It almost came in a shock when I took them off.

"So what did your mom say about Beta Mason" the alarm was off and the need for screaming to communicate was at an end.

"Go to him. Go to him darling. He is your person. Your love, your life. Ooh grandchildren!" I mocked my mother. "She sounds like she came straight out from a Disney book"

"I wish. When my mother found out about Derrick all she said was wrap it up. You don't want to pop out kids unexpectedly. God knows I did. Oops didn't mean that. Love you." We both laughed at our mothers comments. I headed into the shower.

"So what's for breakfast"

"Brunt. Burnt everything. " Erica laughed. 

When I finished my shower Erica picked out my clothes. Jeans with a white t and an olive sweater. I put on my black converse and we headed hand in hand down stairs.

Erica was right it smelt awful. I cracked open every window I could. "Jesus guys. Are you trying to burn down the house" no one replied. Both Erica and I looked at one another before bolting out the house. Nate and Brenden had just pulled up. We got in ready to throw a fit but both boys shoved food in our hands.

"Take it and shut up. Next time breakfast is on you two."

We chimed our coffee cups together. Today wasn't looking so awful.
