He grabs my arm and pulls me to the side away from all of the people, "How do I know you're not one of those crazy girls who can't just learn to leave?" He asks with all seriousness in his voice, keeping his golden orbs locked with my two opposite coloured ones, though I try to look anywhere but in his direction.

"My doctor gave me a few papers... One practically stating that I'm pregnant and others being like a how-to. They're in the car with Quinn," I say softly. "You don't need to do anything Jason, I just... Quinn thought it'd be for the best if you knew you had a child..."

"I want to see the papers, but do they say anything about... Ya know, you and me?" He looks at me again.

I shake my head, "It states my name along with how far along I am."

"Which is?"

"Three weeks and I haven't well... Done anything with someone for a while," I admit embarrassed. What else was I supposed to say?

He grips the ends of his hair and groans quietly before mumbling a string of incoherent curse words. If a girl who wasn't supposed to mean anything came up to me and said she was pregnant, I'd freak out too. I wouldn't hold myself together like he is...

"Are you keeping it?" He looks at me with no emotion laced in his eyes.

"Of course I am," I say with no thought. "I know we screwed up, but it's not this baby's fault..."

He nods a bit before a smile creeps onto his god-like face, "Good," he says softly.

Honestly, I know he's scared of this, he doesn't even know me, nor do I know him, yet we're having a baby with each other. Though he can easily go on with his life while I take care of the baby...

"What are you thinking about?" He looks down at me, moving the few strands of hair from my eyes as we stop in front of the car.

"You and the baby," I mumble, not daring to even let my eyes look up at his. I would try to act like it was nothing, but what am I kidding? This whole moment is something.

"What about us?" He smiles and I open the door retrieving the papers for him.

"If you're going to leave me to raise the baby on my own... I mean, it's not like I'd blame you if you did, I just prefer that you tell me before hand," I speak the truth and hand him the papers quietly.

"I'm not going to leave," he looks at me and I nod slightly. I don't understand why he's being so... So nice.

I see his eyes scan over all the papers and he bites his lip in concentration.

"This is all so real," he mumbles more to himself than to me, from the way it was only just at a whisper.

"I know," I mess with my fingers gently and look at my sneakers sighing softly.

"We got this, Lark," he says after a while of us just standing there in complete silence while Quinn sits in the car with her music blasting louder than ever.

"Why don't I take you out so we can get to know each other?" He offers looking towards Quinn, a soft chuckle leaving his plump lips.

I beam brightly and nod, "I'd like that," I hum happily and knock on the window of the car gently to try and get her attention. When she doesn't answer I walk over to her side and open the door pulling her head buds out.

"Hey," she laughs softly and looks up at me. "How did he take it?"

"Well, he's right there," I say softly nodding my head towards him as he waits patiently. "But um... He's going to um, take me out for a bit."

Goodness that sounds weird coming out of my mouth... Am I trusting him too much already?

She smiles at me nodding as Jason walks over taking my hand, comparing my small fingers to his big ones as he laces them together.

You know the feeling you hear about in those romantic films? How when someone touches any part of you, you feel the sparks, the butterflies zooming through your gut, the need to make them laugh and smile at every chance you get...? That's how I feel about Jason at this moment... How though? I practically just met him...

I shake my head slightly and ignore those thoughts, pushing them to the darkest corner of my mind. I couldn't think like that, hell he could be a secret murderer!

"You okay?" He asks softly as we walk towards who knows where. Please don't be anywhere dark, please?

I nod, "I-I'm fine," I stutter.

"You sure?" He asks and holds my hand gently while his thumb circles my knuckles.

"Positive," I smile a bit and soon we stop in front of an older car and he opens the door for me. "Thank you."

He nods and runs to his side, starting the car and taking my hand again as he drives.

"Where are we going?"

"On an adventure."

Though when we pulled into this adventurous place, I couldn't have been more nervous.
