"Hun, don't worry about it... Yeah, Mom said some words she probably shouldn't have before, but she's okay with it now... Especially since she remembers your family," Jason smiles as he continues rubbing small little circles soothingly against my stomach.

"What if that doesn't matter? Like, she could easily change her views on me," I whisper and look up at him, ever since that first time I met Melissa I've been scared to see her again... Yeah, she seems like a nice lady and that she likes me, but what if I screw up in front of her?

"She loves you, Lark, calm down," Jason chuckles and kisses my head before he gets out of the car and runs over to my side. He opens my door and helps me out before heading towards Melissa's door.

She lived in a cute little house, seemed perfect for just her if you ask me. It was a small little cabin-y place with a beautiful landscape... There were all sorts of flowers growing, a beautiful weeping willow standing guard at the near front, and from what I could see, behind her home is a good sized lake with little ducks swimming inside. In all, I loved it.

I flatten out my tribal print sweater and  follow Jase to the door, "I should have made something for her..."

"You didn't even know we were coming here till twenty minutes ago," he laughs and soon a small figure is in the doorway, pulling him into a tight hug.

"Jason Andrew, you better start coming more often. I shouldn't have to call every time," she scolds the twenty three year old man before smiling at me.

"And there you are! It's been so long!" She pulls me into one of her tight hugs and pats my back before pulling away and looking at my stomach. "May I?" Her head tilts towards my stomach and I nod a bit, she seemed to cheery.

Her hands move to my stomach and she smiles as one of the two kick at her hand; I can't help but giggle quietly.

"Awh," Melissa coos before letting us escape the Canadian cold.

Jason smirks at me before mouthing, "I told you so," behind his mother's back. I stick out my tongue and giggle again quietly as she leads us to the couch.

"You have a really nice home," I smile at her after I examine her living room, it seemed as she had a holiday cabin feel. It was literally like we were on a Christmas holiday again, especially with the smell of pine needles and vanilla mixing in the air.

"Thank you, you two want anything?" She smiles at us and I shake my head along with Jase.

"No, thank you, Ma," he smiles and sits next to me taking my hand gently. His thumb starts rubbing little circles on my hand and I smile leaning against his shoulder.

Melissa smiles and sits down across from us, "So how's my baby doing?"

"I'm doing--"

"Not you, stupid. My grand baby," she squeals looking at me. I look up at Jason and laugh at the look of betrayal on his face.

"They're good, healthy, basically perfect," I smile at her, why was I so worried?

"They're?" She looks at me. "There's two?"

Jason and I nod, and I look up at him, "I thought you told her?"

"You thought wrong," he chuckles nervously and scratches the back of his neck. I roll my eyes playfully and look over at her, "Yeah... Two..."

She squeals and claps her hands while a bright smile is placed on her face, I guess she liked the idea of becoming a grandmother already.

"Do you know what they are yet?" She smiles still, "I need to go shopping, and that would just make it so much easier."

I shake my head and look over at Jase, "No, I think we have to wait a little longer to find out..."

She squeals again before standing and grabbing my hand, she pulls me up and basically drags me into another room. I can't help but giggle at her actions, especially when I hear Jason yelling for her to be careful.
