"Wake up sweetheart," a soft voice whispers in my ear, wrapping their arm around me.

"What time is it?" I whisper and rub my eyes turning in his grip.

"Ten," he chuckles. "Breakfast is downstairs."

I nod a bit, "I should go home, Jase..."

"You don't have to, Princess," he says softly.

I sigh quietly as I look up at him, "I don't have any clothes..."

"Oh, stop making excuses, love. I have clothes you can use," he chuckles and as he rubs his hand against my hip and kisses my cheek.

Jason's Point of View:

"I'm not going to just wear your clothes, Jase," Lark sighs and tries to get up. I can't help but tighten my grip.

I know who she is, hell Mom knows, she's met her... I remember back when she moved here, she was so quiet, so distant... I was the only one who'd talk to her for a while... I'm surprised she doesn't remember me...

"You look beautiful in them though," I whisper against her shoulder. "At least let me take you out tonight..."

"I have work," she sighs.

"Come on Lark, please? Just call off this once..." I beg. I wanted to be near her, I wanted to know what all had happened in the past two and a half years she's been gone...

She sighs and nods surprisingly, I could tell she was confused with her own actions... To her, I'm a stranger she fucked one drunken night and got pregnant from, but in reality, I was the closest person to her besides Quinn when she first moved here...

I smile and kiss her cheek, "Take a shower and come down then," I chuckle and help her up before I run downstairs.

I don't know what happened to Lark after I graduated. I guess that's the problem with me being two years older... I bite my lip and I walk to the living room, sitting on the couch with a couple pictures I dug out while she slept last night.

One picture was of her and me at a public place with spoons on our noses. She got so excited that it actually stayed there so she just had to have a picture.

The next one was of me holding her from behind kissing her cheek as we both were covered in this bright fluorescent bright pink paint from just painting Jazzy's room.

I remember my dad hosing us down while Erin stood and laughed as we both ran from the cold water...

In both of these pictures I was eighteen and she was only sixteen... It's crazy how things change in time...

Soon I hear footsteps patter against the wooden floors, causing me to put the pictures under the pillow. I didn't want her thinking I'm some creep who photo shops pictures...

"Hey you," her smile widened as I got up and took her hand leading her to the kitchen.

"Hello beautiful," I kiss her cheek as I look her over.

She was only in one of my shirts with her long hair tied up into a high bun. In all, she looked adorable.

"What did you make?" She asks softly, that's the Lark I knew back in high school.

"Eggs, turkey bacon, with toast," I chuckle and get up leading her to the kitchen.

Her petite frame bounced into the kitchen as little hairs escaped from her band. She was way too cute.

She jumps up onto the counter and I set her a plate next to her, "There you go Hun," I smile and I stand with my plate eating slowly.

"Jase?" She looks at me with worry in her eyes.

"Yes love?" I smile looking up at her as she ate.

"Why do I feel so comfortable around you?"

You'll see Hun... This will all make sense eventually...
