Jason's  Point of View

I help her off the counter and kiss her little chubby cheeks, "Do you completely trust me?"

She nods slightly and I take our plates setting them in the sink before I interlace her small fingers with my bigger ones, leading her to the hall way.

One day in and I'm already confessing something that seems like I stalk her...

"When you moved here the first time, where did you attended high school?" I ask softly and pull the string to go up to the attic.

"Uh... St. Michael's," she looks up at me as I climb the steps and motion her to follow.

"So didn't I," I smile and I find a cardboard box, opening it and pulling out my old year book from 2012. "Which means you graduated in 2014, right?"

She nods, "Yeah, but why?"

I open up the year book, first turning to my senior picture before I turn the the sophomore section, "And there you are."

"Why are you showing me this?" She looks up at me and I sigh softly and turn to the pages where they do those silly little awards that normally no one cares about. Her and I got the Most Likely to Be A Couple award; neither one of us thought anything of it at the time.

"That's you and I," I say softly and look at her as she takes the book out of my hands.

"So you and I were close?" She glances up at me before looking through the pages again, seeing more pictures of her and I along with some of us two and our other friends.

"Yeah, you were mainly at my house all the time," I smile. "The first time we were separated was when I went to college, even then I came and visited when I could until you just stopped texting me after a while..."

Her beautiful eyes soften as she looks up at me, "I'm sorry..."

"Don't be, okay? Yeah I know we can't pick up where we left off, but you and I have this baby now... We can't let the past effect us," I smile and I kiss her cheek.

A sigh escapes between her plump lips and she nods, "Can you take me to my house today?"

"Just tell me when and we'll go," I smile still and put the books away before the two of us get out of the attic.

"Jason?" She whispers quietly, taking my rather large hand into her smaller one.

I hum in response and lead her to the guest room where I grab a pair of Jazzy's leggings that were too big for her, figuring that Lark could easily fit into them.

"You're uglier than I last remember," she giggles softly, smirking with a teasing look placed upon her adorable face.

"Trust me, I know," I wink at her before going to get her one of my jumpers.

I'm glad that I'm getting my Lark back...
