"You need to get up, Lark," my daddy sighs as he shakes my fourteen year old self. "Don't make me go get your father."
"You're already here," I smirk playfully and I get up, stretching my arms above my head some type of weird noise escaping my lips in the process.
"You're a little shit," he laughs and kisses my cheek.
I gasp and look up at him with wide eyes, "I'm telling Papa on you. Papa!" I yell hiding my laugh as I run downstairs with Daddy right behind me. "Papa," I pout and wrap my arms around him hiding my face in his chest.
"Whatever she says, she's lying," Daddy pants looking up at Papa and sending glares at me.
"What did Daddy do now, princess?" Papa picks me up and I hold onto him.
"He called me a little shit," I hide my giggles as both of them gasp, they were used to me cursing it seemed, then again, that's only because I use them when I quote Daddy...
"Really, Mark?" Papa laughs kissing my head before Daddy walks over wrapping his arms around the two of us, kissing my papa.
When they hear me groan they chuckle, "Oh shush it," Daddy kisses my cheek before they let me down and make me go get dressed and whatnot so I can go to school.
Don't you just love it when you start a completely new school without knowing a single person? Yeah, me neither.
I put on a pair of white washed ripped shorts with a black Nirvana shirt tucked in along with an over sized red and black plaid shirt placed loosely on my shoulders. I straighten my hair and add a little bit of concealer and a small line of black liner to my top lid with white tracing the my water line. I tie on a pair of black converse before grabbing my phone and bag and heading into my dads' room.
"What colour, Papa?" I ask looking up at him as he sighs, he hates that I wear contacts so my eyes would match.
"How about green today?" He smiles lightly and I nod then go to the bathroom to put it in. I walk downstairs, tripping slightly and smile as I look at Daddy.
"Ready?" Daddy smiles down at me and I nod as Papa comes down not long after me. I sigh looking up at him and I get him to pick me up, yes I'm fourteen and the size of like a two year old. I fix his tie and he chuckles softly as he sets me down.
"Better?" He laughs and I nod as I grab a granola bar and walk to Daddy's car.
On the way to St. Michael's I can't help but worry about what if I make a fool out of myself? What if people think I'm weird? I sigh quietly and lay my head on the window, things would be so much easier if Luke was here...
"You're going to be just fine, princess," Daddy smiles at me and turns on the radio. "I'm sure you're going to make friends, everything will be okay."
I nod and soon he pulls in, "Do you need me to come in with you?"
I shake my head and kiss his cheek, "I'll be fine, Daddy... Just like you said."
He smiles and I walk in hearing the bell go off... Great I'm already late... I walk to the office and get everything I need from the secretary before going to my first class, or at least attempting. I stare down at the paper intently trying to see if I look close enough if the paper would lead the way. Though instead the paper led me into the chest of a boy with bright hazel eyes and floppy brown hair...
"Lark!" Quinn yells in my ear making me jump up and snap out of my peaceful nap. Who was that boy?
Jason looks at me before chuckling when he probably sees the drool that maneuvered out of my mouth. I quickly wipe my lips blushing as I get out and follow the two into the hospital and I check in.
"I'm gonna go check out the cafeteria food out," Quinn laughs and I nod a bit and smile, no matter where we were she's always wanted food. While she walks off I sit with Jason and he takes my hand gently, interlacing our fingers gently. There was some type of longing in his eyes, but before I can even ask, my name is called by the nurse. Jason helps me up, even though, -at the moment, it's not that hard for me to get up. I follow him and the nurse before I'm lead back to a room similar to the one I was in last time.
"Hey you," Dr. Owens smiles and pulls me into a hug before she looks up at Jason with a confused smile. "And you are?"
"Sorry, um... I'm Jason, the father," he says nervously a bit and takes her hand shaking it as she smiles lightly.
"Alrighty, so I'm Dr. Owens, and you two are here to basically just check in with the baby right?" She looks at me as I lay on the bench.
"Yeah... That and you told me to come here," I laugh softly and she just smiles lightly at me.
"Of course," she laughs. "So you two have thought out your options right? You both are so young..."
"The only other option I'd even consider if I felt like we weren't okay with this, would be adoption," I say softly as Jason smiles and sits next to me with Quinn beside him.
Dr.Owens nods with my reply and starts to set up everything before placing the cold ultrasound gel on my stomach to find our baby. When she has it set up she turns the screen towards us revealing two black dots in a gray sack looking blob.
"Congratulations, you two are having twins!"
