Kurama X reader: pocky game

chapter 5

He finally have put me down "kurama what are we doing here?" my eyes wondered around and realize we're at the park. the full moon is shining beautiful. the yellow light emitting from the street lights revealed a thin fog hanging in the air.

he took my hand as we started walking "we're having a moonlight picnic!" i looked at him and raised my eyebrow at him "picnic? but we don't even have any---" he chuckled and stop me by placing his index finger on my lips. "just look!"

he gently put his hands on my shoulder and turned me to see an old big tree in front of us, underneath it was a blanket and pillows at the side is a picnic basket. its very simple but very touching. "is this why you're late?" he chuckled once again as we walk forward then finally sitting down at the blanket.

"well yes.." he smiled sheepishly as he nodded. "eh?? b-but you didn't even know why i wanted you to come over? what if i was mad at you instead?" he gently took my hand and kissed it while still making eye contact with me.

"thats right but 'what if' you feel the same way i feel? then a back up plan is necessary" he smiled then grabbed the picnic basket then takes out the food that he himself prepared and a bottled water.

"i cooked this with the help of my mom, i hope you will like it" he was holding the spoon filled with the food he made, trying to feed me "y-you cooked this for me?" i was stunned and i can feel my cheeks getting warmer.

"yes, now say ahhh" he smiled and i can't help it but to blush even more when i lean in to take a taste of it but before my lips touched the food on the spoon he moved his hand back, making me missed it and him kissing my forehead.

my face turned red like his hair by now and he laughed to my reaction while still holding the spoon. "very cute (your/name)!" i pouted and grabbed a pillow then hit him with it playfully. "err kurama!!" his action was indeed very cheesy but sweet and the butterflies in my tummy are going crazy!!

"why did you do that?!" i stopped hitting him while trying to act mad. "i just wanted to see your cute blushing face" he then apologize. "now, (your/name) please try this" he was gesturing to feed me again.

i looked at him for a moment thinking if he really will feed me or do that again. "i swear i won't do it again" he said softly, i smiled as i trust his words and then finally tasted the food. "well, what can you say?" he looked nervous as he waits for my answer.

"its awesome! you did a great job! well you are such an amazing person" he looks satisfied and happy with the job he did. we keep on eating and chatting and looks like and act like a couple.

after eating we put the stuff back to the basket then lays down while cuddling with each other. i rested my head to his chest and his arms are wrapped around me. he was staring at the sky while i close my eyes for a moment, cherishing every seconds and warmth of kurama

"so are we officially a couple now?" i shyly asked. "yes, we are definitely a couple now"
I felt that he kissed my head i giggled and snuggle to him some more. "i love you (your/name)" "i love you too kurama" we kissed each other passionately enjoying this cold, incredible night.
