Hallows Village (London, London)
"Hi, I'm Luke, I'll be your tour guide, friend, and mentor during this next month. If you would please gather your luggage, a van has been arranged to take you all to the village."
"Well isn't he a cutie!" I heard Ellie giggle.
"Oh yeah. Why don't you go talk to him. He doesn't look much older than us." I said as I made my way to retrieve my luggage. Ellie happily skipped off.
After about two rotations of the conveyor belt, I found my luggage and hoisted it off. I made my way towards the exit, found the bus, and opted for a seat beside Señora Fields. She wasn't the friendliest teacher, but anything was better than being stuck with Ellie.
Señora Fields and I began to strike up a conversation about how excited we were to tour Paris, London, and Madrid when I heard it.
Screams.
Make that a thousands screams.
A thousand, high pitched, girly screams.
I stood up to check what was going on, although I already knew. There before my eyes were Niall and his mates walking across the street. Security and bodyguards were attached to each boys arms as they led them through the crowd of screaming girls.
My stomach fluttered a bit when Niall turned to wave at fans and I caught a glimpse of his face. "Why am I feeling this way?" I thought. "I had only talked to the boy for 5 minutes, that was hardly enough time to 'fall in love'." I finished my thought. But something in me, once again, told me that I wanted to see him again. Sitting back down on the bus chair I reminded myself how popular he was and reasoned that seeing him again would be impossible. But I watched him until he went out of my sight.
The bus started up and my conversation with Señora Fields resumed as we rolled along on our way to our new homes for the next month.
After what felt like 30 minutes, but was really only 5, we pulled into the driveway of a quaint little village. The brakes screeched as the bus came to a stop. Before anyone could move, our tour guide Luke stood up to address us.
"Before anyone moves," he started, "I would like to explain the living situation. Instead of hotel rooms, you all will be settled into flats; each housing two people. Now, of course females and males will be separate, but other than that you are free to pick your living partner. Once you get off the bus, collect your luggage and group with the person you would like to live with. I will distribute keys once I see you all paired up."
At that we all rushed towards the front bus door to collect our things. I knew I had to hurry and get my things or else I would be stuck living with Ellie. Joelle, a really good friend of mine, had come on the trip and I was hoping to find her in time to room with her. I hadn't seen her yet because the airport had messed up her airplane ticket, and she had ended up having to sit away from the rest of the group on the plane.
Because I had sat in the first row of bus seats, I was able to get off rather quickly and make my way to the luggage. I easily found my purple suitcase with the 'H' tag attached and my matching purple carry on. Rolling my suitcase around, I tried to find Joelle's luggage, hoping to see her with it.
As I peeked around the front side of the bus, I spotted Joelle standing alone under a tree, just looking around. I immediately broke out into a full on sprint, my luggage bumping around behind me. I reached Joelle, panting, and looked around to see the group looking at me as if I were crazy. I didn't care, I was just glad I had found her in time.
"Heyyyy" I sang/said to Joelle.
"Hi Haley." She replied laughing. Joelle was the perfect friend. She was one of the sweetest people in the world and would never hurt a fly. Joelle was the girl who would say sorry for telling you to shut up.
