A Meadow?

"Now class, practice subject verb agreement with a partner for the last 15 minutes of class." Señora Fields said as she walked out of the room to go make copies.

Bridgett and I immediately turned to each other as Delilah and Joelle were across the hall in another class studying French.

"This class drags on!" I complained, flipping through my textbook.

"Ugh, I know." Bridg agreed, her eyes glued on the clock.

Just then I heard a buzzing noise coming from my purse on the floor. I was pretty sure I knew who it was texting me before I even got my phone out. When I finally pressed the center button to light up my phone, I saw I was right. I had 1 New Message from Niall Horan.

From: Niall ;)

Hiiiiii Hales! I know you're probably in class, but Harry and I were wondering if you two would care for some lunch? There will be a black town car waiting for you outside the school.....we'll be waiting. ;)

Did Niall just call me 'Hales'? I thought. I definitely liked it, my stomach was doing flips. Bridg and I both agreed to the lunch, but I wanted to be a bit cheeky with Mr. Horan, so I replied.

You don't leave us much choice do ya? What if I don't get in the car....

Then I'll be forced to get out of the car.

And do what? May I ask.

Inside I was screaming, but I tried to remain calm. I decided to leave the message and not reply. I quickly turned back to Bridg and made it look like we were working because señora had just come back in. Bridg gave me a look that said she would be wanting to see my phone later, when señora called for us to move our seats back to their places. She talked a bit more, then handed out homework sheets and dismissed us.

Bridg and I made our way outside slowly, taking our time to find the town car. We found it off the left side of the building and were making our way towards it when I heard Joelle and Delilah call my name.

"Wait up!" Delilah called, skipping over to where Bridg and I now stood.

"What is it girl, we gotta go." Bridgett said, a bit impatient.

"We thought you two would like to have lunch with us. I was thinking about making sushi!" Joelle grinned.

"That sounds great! But could we take a rain check and do supper?" I sheepishly grinned.

"Yah, can we do supper instead?" Bridg added.

"I guess..." Joelle hesitantly said. "But where are you guys going?"

"We'll explain tonight. Promise." I said, grabbing Bridg's hand and leading her to the town car.

We reached the back, right door and I hopped in before Bridg. As soon as I had my crouched over body in the car, I felt a pair of hands gently grab my waist and pull me to a seat. I looked to my left to find that those hands belonged to Niall. He looked at me smiling from ear to ear. I heard the door shut and saw Bridgett take a seat next to Harry. As the driver began to drive Niall turned to me.

"Hi sweetheart! How was class?"

"It was alright. Very long." I admitted.

"Well now you can have some fun!" He smiled, taking my hand. I immediately blushed and turned to look at Bridg. Then I felt Niall's hand lightly touch my chin as he pulled my face to look back at him.
