Captive Creeper

I woke up in a strange room, 'where am I?' I thought. Then it started to come back, I remembered coming to Sips co and the prison and the medicine, I remember following Sjin up to a room where he told me I could stay. I looked around, the walls were bare, there was one window, by the looks of it I was on the 3rd floor of whatever building I was in. I sat for awhile not knowing what to do, I didn't know my way around and I didn't know where anyone was. Finally Sips came up, "good morning Kira" he said as he walked in. "Hey" I said casually, trying to hide my hands. To late. "Why are you wearing gloves? Your inside and you were just sleeping" he asked. 'Welp...how am I going to get out of this?' I asked myself. "Well Sips...I happen to like these gloves a lot...and... they're comfortable...you never know when you'll be attacked and have to leave in the middle of the night!" I said awkwardly. "Ok then..." He said confused. "Welp, Sjin wants to visit Minty, wanna come?" "Sure" I said "I want to meet everyone eventually so yeah I'll come meet this Minty person!"

I walked out with Sips and Sjin, Sjin lead the way to a place called the Captive Creeper. Neither of them could fly so I walked with them, we passed a little fire sort of thing, like a beacon or a torch light, I didnt ask what they were since we just walked by it. Sjin seemed to be very eager to get to this place, though Sips looked like this was a daily thing. None of us talked, we just walked in silence. I had decided not to wear Ridge's clothes, I just wore a pair of gray sweat pants and a black hoodie. We seemed to walk quite awhile before we got to the Captive Creeper, but then the building just seemed to be there all of a sudden. There was a woman with blonde hair and a little brown dress on. She sitting outside in the grass, "Minty!" Sjin yelled running over to her. He sat down right next to her while Sips and I walked up slowly. "Hey Minty!" Sips said as we got up to them, "Hey Sips" she said. "Sjin? Who's this?" She asked pointing at me, to her I probably looked like a random teenager, I almost wanted to see her reaction when Sjin told her. "This is Kira, she is staying with us for a bit" he said. "Oh?" Minty asked "yeah, I wanted to meet all of the people in Yogsville so I'm staying with a few people while I meet people." I told her. She seemed almost surprised by my answer. She still looked confused, 'time to terrify her...' I sighed to myself "I'm Ridgedog's daughter..." I said, upon seeing her face and the way she burrowed into Sjin when I said that, I decided that I needed to clarify, "I'm not going to hurt you are anyone else! I'm not like my father at all!" I explained. She seemed to relax slightly. I could tell she and Sjin were a couple, they sat there holding hands and she snuggled up into him. Even though she had sort of relaxed I could tell she was still very tense. Her eyes had this look like none other, the look of pure terror and grief, I could tell the games had put her in a rough spot and this was only bringing up bad memories. Sjin hugged her closer and kissed her head, "it's ok Minty" he murmured into her hair. Sips just sat there, trying not to think about the games. 'Why do I always bring pain and grief wherever I go?' I asked myself sadly. I sat down and turned away from everyone so that I didn't have to see the pain I had just stirred. I heard someone walk over, it didn't sound like Sips or Sjin and I knew Minty wouldn't come near me yet, but I didn't turn around, I didn't care who it was...I would just cause them pain. Then there was a hand on my shoulder, I turned and saw Duncan. "Hey, Sips said you seemed to be having trouble" he said. "How did I not hear you?" I asked. "I flew over and whispered to Sips, but you seemed deep in though anyway." "Oh..." I said "what's the problem, you can talk to me" he said. I hesitated but then said "everywhere I go I stir up old pain and grief, upon telling people who I am they get all scared and grief stricken. I'm just a ball of bad memories" I tried not to let a tear slip down my cheek with little success. "It's ok, I think your a wonderful girl, you don't bring haunting memories to me," he patted my back, "that's because I helped you out during the games" I said. "No, not only that but you really are very nice and kind hearted." He said calmly. He stood up and offered a hand, I took his hand and stood. "Alright, I can't stay, I was just in the area and happened to see you guys here but I'll visit sometime ok?" He asked "ok...I guess" I said hugging him. "Bye" I said as he flew on. "Minty?" I asked looking at her. "I hope you don't hate me..." I said pained. She seemed to contemplate for a moment, "no, I guess I don't hate you at all, I never have really, just your father." She said quietly.

Later we were all sitting around in the Captive Creeper pub and grill eating some lunch and talking and laughing. 'Everything will be fine' I decided. 'And when it's not, I just have to remember that there are people who don't hate me, I will always have a home with them'

Welp...idk what to say...I felt like she should meet Minty, but it didnt go exactly as I had though. As much as you people who don't write think, the character develop a mind of their own, we writers merely put it out on paper. These characters are putting themselves into these situations, I am merely their way of expressing, it as as much my ideas as theirs! Please tell me what's you think so far!
