Kira (a yogscast fanficton)

Blackrock Castle

As I flew I saw a black rock castle come into view, there was a logo on the front, a red mushroom and a red matter pick axe crossed over each other. 'I wonder who lives here?' I thought. I landed and knocked on the door, "Zoey! Would you get the door!" I heard a male voice yell. "It's probably a zombie again! Can't you get it?" Said a female voice. "Alright...I'll get the door" the exasperated male voice said. The door opened and a Mage stood in front of me, he wore a purple shirt and a black cape, he had a face mask and his hair had a light streak in the front. "hello?" He said "you aren't a zombie" "no, I'm sorry to disappoint you..." I said. I saw a red headed girl look over the Mage's shoulder, "Zoey, go find Teep ok?" He said over his shoulder and the girl ran off. "Who are you then?" He said turning back to me. "My name is Kira" I told him. "I am Rythian" he said. We stood in silence looking each other over, "how come your wearing that?" He asked me, obviously not many people wore clothes that looked like Ridgedog's. "I am Ridgedog's daughter..." I said "but I don't want to hurt you or anyone else!" I clarified. He stayed silent and looked at me. "Why do you wear gloves?" He asked "why do you wear a mask?" I countered. Neither of us spoke for a while. He watched my every breath, I tried to stare him down just as he was to me, suddenly he said "Come in" leading me into the house, we sat down in a little sort of common area, "you said your name was Kira?" He asked "yup" I said. "I am here to meet everyone living in Yogsville, there are so many and I have been kept hidden away in the clouds all my life." He nodded but said nothing. "Rythian? I couldn't find Tee, who was that at the-" she cut off her sentence as she walked into the room, the red headed girl I saw when the door opened. "Zoey...why don't you go upstairs?" He asked her "I want to meet this person!" She said, Rythian sighed and then said "this is Kira...now you know who she is, now please go upstairs" he said, she sighed and grumbled something about overprotective and stomped upstairs. He looked sadly after her, "I don't like upsetting her, I just don't know if I can trust you yet" he said still looking at the stairs where she had disappeared up. "You can trust me, at least I hope you would. Normally people get all pained and stuff when I introduce myself...usually it's to much for them and it brings back memories..." I said. Rythian just nodded and watched me. 'This isn't getting anywhere!' I yelled at myself. "May I stay here? I have nowhere to go, if it means much to you, you could put me in a prison cell if you don't trust me. But really I have nowhere else to go" I said to him. "We have a guest room-" before he could finish, the girl ran down the stairs, "Rythian! i don't like sitting upstairs alone...its creepy..." she complained. Rythian sighed and said "let me introduce you to Zoey," she waved at me, "Hi" she said, I nodded to her. "Kira, this is my apprentice, she lives here with me." He said. "And Teep! He lives here too!" Zoey added. "Oh how could I forget, Teep, our dinosaur who is quite a shot, he can hit a target from who knows how far away!" He said. At that point a T. rex came lumbering into the room, he had a quiver full of arrows and a bow slug over his back. "Tee, i couldn't find you earlier! Anyway this is Kira, Kira, this is Tee" Zoey said. "Nice to meet you Tee" I said awkwardly shaking hands with the dinosaur. "Tee? Will you help Zoey on her farm?" Rythian asked "I don't need help Rythian! I've got everything almost perfect!" Zoey said. "Well then take Tee and go do something while I figure this out ok?" He said "if you wanted me to go somewhere else you just had to ask..." Zoey said quietly "no...I didn't mean it like that...I just don't know whether to trust her or not, I just have to talk with her a bit, ok?" He said to her. "Ok!" She smiled and skipped out the door, followed by Tee. I wasn't sure what to think of this little family, because Zoey defiantly seemed like more then an apprentice, I could tell she meant something to Rythian.

Authors notes- ok so this got a little weird, I tried to make Rythian and Kira almost seem the same in a way, that will make a bit more sense in the next chapter I think. But I also tried to show Rythian's care for Zoey, how he would never let anyone hurt her. It kinda failed a bit but..umm...yeah....tell me what you think so far!
