Run,run,I keep running,but everywhere I go, it's a dead end. He's coming,run,don't stop,I'm next.
I jolt awake from the dreaded nightmare. I can't get the image out of my head.
"Katerina,are you alright?"asked Carol
" I'm fine just the same nightmare,"I said.
"Alright just making sure. It's already past ten in the morning are you not training today?"she asked me
"The Head Night is out on a mission. So we'll train after lunch,"I said lazily.
"Well,go on and get ready you can get a head start," she said while fixing her bed.
"Yeah whatever,I'll get ready can you fix me something to eat please?" I asked sweetly
"Sure thing,Katerina," she said leaving the room
Getting up I got dressed. I grabbed my father's sword,my two daggers,and bow and arrows. Grabbing my mask I go and eat.
"Thanks for the food,Carol;you're the best,"I said.
"You're welcome,now get going,"she said with a smile.
After that I walked to the castle. The walk over was quite refreshing,all the lovely shades of red and orange. My least favorite would be the red, so so much red. All I could remember was the vivid color it wouldn't go away it was driving me insane. "Why? Why would he do this? What did he have going on in that mind of his?" I thought to myself.
Arriving at the castle training grounds I start my usual training two-hundred pushups one-hundred sit ups. Hardly ever do I get interrupted during my warm ups,"Um Kurt is it?"
"..." I stared silently
"You must be Kurt then. I was wondering as to why you never speak? They say you're the best Knight we have. Is it true? They also told me you never speak. Why won't you speak?" The man asked me excitedly.
"Some people don't speak of their past haunts them. I do not speak for my past is not worth mentioning. As of right now nim searching for the man who killed my family," I told him coldly.
"I can help you," he stated
"I don't need your help. I'm sorry your Majesty but I work alone," I stated.
"Whatever you say," he said walking off.
A few minutes passed and everyone was here,"Alright everyone as the Second in Command I'll be doing the training for today. Let's start with a three mile run,and Kurt you will lead the run."
Rolling my eyes I say,"If you can keep up."
