Dream...

"Katerina could you go and retrieve my spare sword from the Attic? I need it for training tomorrow,"said my father.

"Yes father I shall retrieve it for you,"the little me said.

Walking up the stairs to the Attic I search for his sword only to find nothing,"where is it?"I asked myself

Finding I started to head back to the stairway. I suddenly hear screaming,"who could that be?"looking through the peephole I see Matt Hemisphere arguing with my father.

"I will not let him have her! I came to ask for her hand and yet you declined what is your deal! I thought I was going to marry her! You said me not Matt Alford!"exclaimed Matt

"I never said you I said Matt Alford! You'll never have her! I promised her to Matt Alford he loves her more than anything and you come and try to ruin everything! Leave at once or else I will kill you Matt Hemisphere!"my father exclaimed

"You left me no choice Knight Rose! Boys come on in! Search this house and find her tear this place apart I want her found! Sorry Knight Rose you left me no choice."Matt said as he struck my father down with his sword and laughed,"oh Katerina where are you? I'm here to take you with me!"he said heading for the stairs.

Going to corner surrounded by boxes I hid there hoping that he wouldn't see me. Suddenly everything goes blank...

"Katerina wake up. It's time to wake up,"I felt someone touch my cheek.

I opened my eyes,"Mom,dad,sister's you're dead how you talking to me?"

"You're dreaming but we are actually here in it. We needed to give you a message. Whatever Matt Hemisphere says is a lie don't listen to him. Salvador was supposed to marry you and we wish that you would. We know he is not Matt but he is just as sweet. Please do not hate us Katerina but we could save you we should be run but now you're alone and no one is there to help you. We miss you and love you Katerina please stay safe you need not get vengeance for our deaths,"my mom said.

"I could never hate you. I'm doing it for you Matt has destroyed my future he's the one who killed him and I can't handle it. I will kill him if it's the last thing I do! I swear on the Rose name Matt Hemisphere will meet his demise! I promise that I'll get my revenge and restore the Rose name!"I said

"Oh my dear sweet Katerina I can't believe you grown to be so strong. You're probably just as strong as I was and just as brave. I'm so proud of you but please remain safe. I'm happy that you have gone this far but please be safe and stay from harm,"my dad said with tears running down his face.

Darkness again I'm all alone. Running what am I running to or running from. I stop only to see Matt Hemisphere killing Matt Alford...

End of dream..

I jolt awake screaming only to see Salvador and Geric standing over me. Salvador was crying and Geric was shaking in fear," Katerina are you okay what was wrong please tell me,"Salvador shook in fear.

"Salvador could you stay in here for tonight? I'm scared,please stay in here."I beg shaking

"I'll sleep in here Geric go back to bed I'll take care of her,"Salvador said.

"Alright but please be careful when shes like this its hard to get her to listen,"Geric said and left.

"I'm gonna sleep on the couch Katerina okay?"he asked

"No please sleep next to me I'm scared. I'm so scared that he's gonna kill you and Geric and everyone else I care about. I was there that night that Matt was killed I was so scared that I would lose you too. I love you to where it hurts me just to leave you so please stay with me. I need you now more than I needed anyone else,"I cried.

"Alright Katerina I'll stay. Just go back to sleep I'll be here when you wake up so please rest,"he smiled sadly.

The Next Morning...

Lady Katerina its time to get up and get ready for the ball,"Salvador said I groaned.

Opening my eyes I see Salvador and I blush,"Get out so I can get ready!"

"Alright I'll leave and take it easy Katerina don't go over board,"he smiled sadly.

"Lady Katerina we need to get you ready Prince Salvador please leave so I can help her get ready,"Queen Isabella said as she walked in.

Three Hours Later...

"So Katerina why was Salvador in here?"Isabella asked

"I had a nightmare which caused a breakdown so he stayed in my room over night to make sure it didn't happen again,"I told her and smiled.

"You'll be fine Katerina now you're done I must go get ready myself. Why don't you walk around the garden for a while clear your mind of things so you can enjoy your party."

"I'll go do that see you at the party Isabella and I hope to see you dancing."

The awaited moment! The BALL!!

It was beautiful the decorations and the dresses. I saw it all before the party started and I'm in my room waiting for my escort. I was excited (A/N her dress was in the last chapter) and couldn't wait to dance. Today was my last day at Castle Finn and tomorrow my first day at Castle Alford. Im nervous at how people will think of me but Salvador said they'd love me.

"Lady Katerina are you ready? May I come in?"Salvador asked

"Come in Salvador. I'm ready,"I say and smile.

He walks in and smiles,"You look amazing. Shall we go Katerina,"he holds his arm out for me to take.

"Yes we shall go Salvador,but remember that Geric gets the first dance it's the best thing I could give him," I said smiling sadly.

The walk was quiet we had nothing to talk about it was pretty odd what happened but it'll pass I guess. The ball room was amazing I didn't know they could decorate like this but it was absolutely beautiful. I didn't want to leave her but I needed a fresh start I love Salvador more than anything and I will not let anyone ruin it. My thoughts were suddenly interrupted,"Katerina it's time for the first dance Geric is walking over here,"Salvador whispered in my ear.

"Yes I noticed,"I said nervously.

"You look amazing Katerina. Would you mind giving me the first dance,"Geric asked and bowed.

"I would love too."

Geric takes my hand and guides me to the center of the ball room and guided me through the dance. I'm going to miss him but I only ever saw him as a brother,"I'm going to miss you Geric."

"Please don't talk I want this to last as long as possible. It will make it easier on me. I just can't believe that you're eighteen now."

We danced in silence when the song was over I saw Geric smiling and I was crying,"I'm sorry."

Geric smiled and passed me off to Salvador,"Don't cry Katerina you'll be fine. I promise."

Later that night Salvador took me to stage in the ballroom,"Can I have everyone's attention please,"he paused and got down on one knee,"I know this is was already set up but I truly want to show you how much I truly care for you. Katerina I care a lot about you and I hope that I can help you through all the tough times. I love you and I hope I can make you just as happy as my brother did and you will stand by my side and become my queen so please do me the honor of becoming my wife?"

I couldn't help the tears that fell,"Yes I will,"I said And he slide the ring in my finger and he kissed me. It was a sweet kiss and I was happy for once. He made me feel safe and I was happy again. And I hoped no Matt didn't come around to ruin this...
